Just got approved for Xiaflex through insurance company

I have been reading this forum for about 6 months now and have decided to make a post since being approved to receive Xiaflex injections from my insurance company. I'm really looking for some input from people who have already had the injections and what they think. Did it Help or not help? Any bad side effects?

I have been dealing with this problem for about 2 years now. I have always had a small curve upward to my penis when erect before ever developing peyronies, but of course it's way worse now. I do not have any ED and pain is only minimal depending on position my wife is in. I have not tried any of the other treatments because when I first developed this condition it happened really fast, like within a 6 week period from first sign to the bend that I still have to this day, so my urologist told me to wait to see if it was going to progress anymore, and also from his experience nothing else he had done helped his patients with the disease. I started doing research immediately after the first signs and found out about Xiaflex being a possible use, so I passed this info on to my doctor who has since become certified to administer the medication. My problem is he has never actually given the injections and I do not want to be the first, he has a total of 10 patients I think that have now been approved to receive them, so I'm gonna wait to be at the end to see what happens.

Also was wanting to know if anyone is familiar with any good urologist out of the Atlanta area that may be more experienced with this procedure.

You are not writing who is your urologist so I can't tell you if we have information about him.
Regarding urologists in Atalanta, try out the doctors board, maybe you will find one close to you.
