I've had what I think is Peyronies Disease for about a year now. At first it was a change and I tried best not to think about it.

But now, I have finally noticed that I don't get the raging hard ons when I wake up that I used to before I got Peyronies Disease.

Is this associated or psychological? I have no pain.

I haven't had morning erections for years..

While it may be a result, more likely Peyronie's is a result of your not having morning erections, if that makes sense. The only way I can have morning erections is if I stop all sexual activity for over one week. Let's see what others have to say.

My morning erections diminished when I began to show signs of ED. I had peyronies for a couple of years before the ED developed. I suspect the psych factor plays a role in all forms of ED, it's the degree to which it plays a role that is the important point, and that can only really be determined by a physical and psych assessment.
I think my morning erection loss has been more a result of the physical factor. But I suspect sexual arousal based erection loss is affected as much by the psych factor as it is physical, if that makes sense?

No errections means poor bloodflow/circulation.

Without that the body cant move supplements and other stuff to the inflammation. Often  poor bloodflow/circulation is the culprit why a incident/inflamamtion leads to peyronies.

You need to be healthy and fit to have a chance vs. peyronies. That the baseline to opperate from.

It could be either. Don't assume it is Peyronies Disease. And Peyronies doesn't mean you will get ED, that can be totally unrelated. Bottom line is to get a proper diagnosis.

I personally think it has less to so with circulation and more to do with your brain. But both must be true.

I don't know but I rarely get nighttime erections anymore and when I do they are almost always weak partial erections.  A little over a year ago, before I got peyronie's disease I woke up with very hard erections most mornings.  I think it is probably both physical and psychological.  Most people with peyronie's seem to have some amount of ED.

My morning erections ended 18 months ago when I started a medication for OCPD plus depression and anxiety. Then, in January, the first lump appeared and Peyronies Disease developed. I have no ED, my overall health is good and my diet is rich and quite varied.

Draw your own conclusions.
Age: 37
First onset: January 2014 (lasted 16 months) | Treatment: Q10 (ubiquinol) + Acetyl-L-Carnitine | Result: 15ยบ curvature to right and narrowing at the base.
Second onset: January 2020.

I hadn't had spontaneous morning erections in quite a while (years), but that started well before I exhibited any symptoms of Peyronies Disease. I just thought it was a factor of getting a little older (48).

But....about two weeks ago I started taking daily supplements of:
CoQ10 (Ubiquinol form) (100 mg x 3)
Acetyl L-Carnitine (500 mg x 3)
Arginine/Citrulline (500/250 mg x 3)

And guess what? Morning wood! I admit I was skeptical that I'd experience any results at all - let alone so rapidly and objectively. And I wasn't really expecting to get morning erections from this supplement cocktail - but it's a very noticeable change. And they've been pretty consistent.

Probably worth a try.

Well, I wouldn't decide I had Peyronie's just because I wasn't hard in the morning! I assume you must have some other major symptoms you aren't mentioning. I get morning wood like crazy--except it's bent like a New Orleans politician, and hurts like I'm having a nail driven into my penis.

As the estimable LWillisJr says, you can't draw connections between Peyronie's and ED on any simple basis. Sure--a lot of people with Peyronie's have ED. I get as hard as a rock but I technically have ED, because having sex hurts me like hell, so it doesn't happen.

Sure, there are connections between the two. But there are also 12 bazillion people who have ED but don't have Peyronie's.

If I'm laying down on my side with my head to the West, and point my cock North, the tip of my cock points Northwest. When it's hard.

That's how I know I have Peyronie's. Nothing else does that. Even Cirque du Soleil performers can't do that. ;D

Morning wood is an excellent sign :)
Wish you keep going :)
One remark regarding your supplements:
At your age (48) better to take Ubiquinol and not CoQ10/Ubiquinone. Our body needs Ubiquinol and the conversion of CoQ10 after the age of 40 is slowing down.

James,

Why do you feel "the conversion of CoQ10 after the age of 40 is slowing down". It is my understanding that When CoQ10 is oxidized and used in the body, it transforms and becomes ubiquinol. Transversely, ubiquinol becomes ubiquinone (CoQ10) when it has done its role in the body and is flushed out. What does this have to do with age? I ask because Im 59 and have been taking CoQ10 for years, before it was recommended for my Peyronies.

Mending the Bend

James,

My error. The pills I am taking ARE actually Ubiquinol (reduced form of CoQ10). Thanks for mentioning it.

Our body capability/efficiency to convert the CoQ10 to Ubiquinol that our body uses is reduced with the age. This is the reason why people older that 40 are advised to take Ubiquinol.
