Can you drink while on Pentox? How long does it remain in your system?

Hey guys for some reason I'm having a hard time finding this information online since most Google searches I do for Pentox and alcohol take me to articles about it's treatment for Severe Alcoholic Hepatitis which I don't have.

Is it safe to drink while on Pentox extended release tablets? How long does Pentox extended release remain in your system ? I took a Pill at 11:30 am and planned to drink tonight and take my other Pentox tablet much later in the night after sobering up since I have off college/work tomorrow.

Iv'e been depressed watching my disease progress and really just need a drink with this girl I've been talking too. I know it's bad to delay a dose and drinkign isn't good for peyronies but Iv'e given it up completely and been very dedicated to my routine I just desperately need a good time I'm miserable.

While on Pentox, I would have 1-2 drinks (usually beer) in the evening maybe 2-3 nights per week. Moderate drinking should not cause any harm. However, heavy or binge drinking should be avoided.

Thanks for the response. So if i took Pentox at 11:30 am I wont be able to drink a little heavier at 9 without negative effects (around 4 beers?)

Do you know ow long Pentox stays in the system?

The typical dosage for pentox is 400mg 3 times per day (i.e. three pills per day). In some cases people take 400mg twice per day (i.e. two pills per day), is that what you're doing?

The only issue I can think of with Pentox and alcohol is potentially worse GI (stomach) problems. Pentox can sometimes cause GI upset and too much alcohol almost always causes GI irritation. I'd aim for 2-3 beers spread out over the evening. Getting hammered while taking a medication like this is not a good idea. Also, alcohol can affect erection quality and poor erections during sexual activity can lead to more harm to the penis. So if you're thinking of getting frisky, fool around first and then have some celebratory booze afterwards.

Most Pentox pills marketed today are ER (Extended release or SR - Slow release).

After administration of the 400 mg extended-release pentoxifylline tablet, plasma levels of the parent compound and its metabolites reach their maximum within 2 to 4 hours and remain constant over an extended period of time

I can't find nothing more precise by the Internet.
My opinion is that if you took Pentox at 11:30 AM, your body is free or almost free of Pentox at 9 PM

Thanks guys I didn't get hammered I just wanted to feel a little more than a BUZZ. Skad I agree completely that it's not a good idea to have sex while under the influence I have almost hurt myself in the past like that. I used to drink more frequently but Peyronies has stopped that for the most part with only the occasional weekend drinking. At least theres upsides to peyronies i guess made me live a healthier lifestyle with more exercise and less bad habits.
