    close to a year

     severe bend  (80-85 degrees), initially had pain but that is almost totally gone
What treatments have you tried and what were the results?
      vitamin e and lotion  (first doctor)
      pentoxifylliine  (second doctor)
Do you have insurance or means to get medical treatment?
       yes
where are you in dealing with the psychological aspects of Peyronies Disease?
     saw a counselor and joined this group  (took me  month to join this group)

From your post I understand you read the introductory topics so you know a few things regarding Peyronies.
I was advising you the add to the Pentox low dose daily Cialis, Ubiquinol and VED.
Read as much as you can to understand from where my advice is coming.
You have a few researches in the library board, take some to your doctor and ask for prescription of Cialis and VED.
Ask VED for ED, not for Peyronies. Carefully with the VED not to over-pump.
If things are not clear regarding VED usage, write a PM to Old Man.

thank you for the response, I will check it out  (after I figure out what you are talking about  (ved)  -- so I will have to read...

my doctor has also said he could do a surgery  (he has done it on only 4 people) and said his patients got good results, he was pretty graphic with the description of the procedure and it sounded pretty invasive.

Surgery is the last instance and you want to do it with a surgeon that makes hundreds per year.

As James said surgery is the last resort. Educate yourself about VED therapy and traction!
