Intermittent pentox use

Saw my uro yesterday & had an interesting conversation. The crux of it, is that he's happy to prescribe cialis & recommended use of a VED; but - having read the studies on pentox - isn't convinced about its efficacy.

Having done some reading myself & seen the experiences of forum members here, I (obviously) came away a bit perplexed by this!, & will be getting myself onto river or gold later on.

I've "spoken" (via dm) to various forum members about use of the drug, & have picked up on the fact that some sufferers stick with using it on a permanent basis. Some however, used it only in the acute stage, & furthermore during flare-ups.

So my question is this: - permanent use of pentox? Or only "when needed"?

I ask because I'm already on a tonne of pills for other medical problems, & I'd rather avoid adding any more pills into the mix than absolutely necessary (though if I have to taken a dozen pills a day to stop my dick falling apart, I would of course!).

I took pentox for 8 months and stopped after my pain was completely gone. I also consulted with Dr. Lue before stopping and he said if symptoms had diminished, it's OK to stop. I have actually had some improvement since stopping pentox, but it is impossible to say how or why that is happening.

It is probably better to not take a medication on a long term basis unless absolutely necessary. If symptoms do worsen, it would be better to try other treatments or even consider surgery. I'll take Peyronie's over liver damage any day.

I stopped Pentox after 18 months because it is weakening the immune system and I was getting bad flue every month.
I will start again in the future hopefully because of the benefits I had from Pentox.
