I've been on Pentox like 7 months now. It's been quite helpful, improved size and erection quality. Besides mild insomnia I never suffer any major side effects. Until the last 3 weeks that i just can stop being sick. I can no find another explination than pentox. I take 600 IU of d3, i hope that I don't have to stop taking it, is an essential part of the treatment.

Any suggestion to cope better with this side effects is much appreciated.

One of the Pentox side effects is weakening the immune system.
After 18 months, started to get heavy flue almost every month so I stopped taking.
6 months without Pentox, just this week got flue and not severe.
I am proposing you to stop Pentox and try to start again a few months later.

Thank you very much James, this lead me to another question: Are we damaging ourself in the long run in the process of curing Peyronies Disease?

Regards.

Nothing and nobody is perfect except GOD (in my opinion).
Pentox have definitely many benefits also not connected to Peyronies, but also negative effects.
Same as any other medication, vitamin and supplements.
We have to find the thin gold line in between.
Not a conclusive answer to your question, I know but I don't have better one. :)

James, I know is a tricky one. No way to answer in a definitive manner. Can anyone share his experience taking pentox for several years?

I have taken pentox 2-3 times a day for almost 8 years with a one year break.  The biggest issue I have with it is upset stomach and possible worsening of gastritis.  My white blood cell count is on the lower end but I am a germ a phobe so I don't get sick as often.  The benefits of less pain and disease progression are worth it to me.  Since this disease is a slow painful death I guess pentox keeps me alive some how.

Than you for your answer Get bent... The one year break was due to immunology problems?

One year break was due to not working and bleeding ulcers.

Damn. Can I ask you how old you are? Also, the ulcers were there before or they were provoke by pentox?

Thank you for your time.

The drug works, does anyone else notice dry eyes though or dry mouth?  I went to my eye doctor and now he says I'm not producing enough tears and I've been off this drug for months...

I have been taking Pentox for more than a month now at a dosage of two tablets per day.  Over the past two days I stepped it up to three tablets and experienced a tingling sensation in my toes for hours after my lunch dose.  Also feel a little more fuzzy headed than normal.  Has anyone else had this extremity tingling?  It wasn't a side effect listed on the sites I looked at.  Also my feet felt generally very warm.

Mack67...........The Pentox may just be improving the circulation in your feet area.  Pentox was originally developed to improve circulation in legs.  Just a possibility dplookin

Pentox (3*400 mg daily) has eliminated the small blue/red blood vessels from my face and feet, including the feet toes.
The reason is how Pentox works. It makes the red blood cells flexible, they can enter the smallest veins and supply oxygen to the far organs of our body.

Hey, Mack--

Pentox gives me all kinds of strange feelings in my extremities, and also sometimes makes me dizzy when I stand up quickly or exercise hard.

I think the overall effect is to drop my blood pressure. I have to say that I don't think the increased circulation and lowered blood pressure is entirely a bad thing. I just wish it were a bit easier on my tummy.

Pentox gave me some minor GI problems and made me feel a little more anxious than usual. However, it did get rid of the pain quickly and I have seen continuous minor physical improvement since taking it (and even after stopping). I was doing a lot of distance running while on pentox and it did seem to help recovery time and improve performance. That may have been psychological though as I was aware of it's oxygenating properties.

Thanks guys.  I have had trouble with poor circulation in my feet after frostbite from skiing when I was younger.  I figured it was okay just a bit concerning as I never saw it mentioned on the list of side effects.

I have been sticking to the regime of oral treatments.  So far I am not any worse but I don't think I have really improved much either.  Still trying to find a good urologist in London for a second opinion after my trip to Russia.

Mack62........this is a little off subject, but in regards to your feet circulation, try rubbing Organic Apple Cider Vinegar into your feet for 5 to 10 minutes.  It may help.  A couple of years ago, I had a mini-stroke that left some problems with 3 toes on my foot.  I had only partial feeling in them.  I put up with it for a couple of months, then got tired of it, and did the Vinegar thing and the feeling came back over night.  I rubbed in the vinegar for a few minutes, put on a cotton sock and the next day the problem was solved. dplookin
