As promised in my introduction topic I wanted to make a topic were I can keep a better track of my disease history and prognosis.
Feel free to post, comment, ask etc.

I'll come back to this to edit the full details in.

For now:
I visited a second doctor (a urologist/sexologist) and had a lengthy and good session with him.
I felt pretty good prepared, partially because I read quite a bit about the condition and also because I wrote down some proper questions in advance.

He did a sonograph and luckily there was nothing on it (so no calcifications so far! I have to knock the wood now).
But he did diagnose the lump physically. Initially he wanted to send me away like the first doctor.
Then I told him about the advices from this forum (pentox, Cialis and CoQ 10). Also that I would really like to try some oral medication.
After a lengthy discussion he agreed to prescribe me Cialis if I wanted this and also tamoxifen for the pain, the latter I refused.

So today, about half an hour ago, I took my first Cialis pill (5 mg) and the CoQ 10 is ordered and should arrive hopefully tomorrow, otherwise it'll have to wait a bit.
I'm feeling excited, I hope this will help. :)

Pentox will help with the pain more than Tamoxifen, so good decision not to take it.
But if you really want to stop the progression of the disease, better to add Pentox to your treatment.
You should take to your doctor Dr. Lue research on Pentox (and other researches about from the libraray) to convince him to prescribe you Pentox.
This is my opinion.

I can tell from my own experience.. I took Cialis daily for 5 months (together with Potaba). It did nothing to improve my condition. It didn't get much worse either.. but I expected more. I think James is right..

Actually I can't remember for sure anymore if we discussed the pentox/trental.
I think the doctor said something briefly that it had no influence (but that basically was his general story before I insisted on trying something).
Where do you guys get your pentox from?

@ emasculated: how long after the first onset of symptoms did you take the Cialis/potaba? you took 5 mg as well?

EDIT:

So my bottle of CoQ10 arrived. Apparently there also is a difference between the natural and the synthetic stuff, I guess I got the synthetic one because the bottle is not really clear about it. Assignment for the near future: to find a bottle with natural CoQ10.
How do you guys take your dosage?
At the moment I was planning to take the CoQ10 (60 mg, it also has a bit of omega 3 fishoil in it) at my midday meal and then the Cialis (5mg) either before my evening meal or a bit before going to bed.
Inputs from experienced people are highly appreciated.
