Do erections put strain on the site of the procedure?

I'm 3 weeks post-op (Nesbits), and I've been getting feeling back in my penis gradually. I also feel as if my erections are getting more frequent, and stronger. I honestly feel as if the are getting as strong as they can until it hurts too much to get any stronger. Me being a teenager, I assume that I would have more frequent erections currently than any other time in my life, so I am wondering if anyone knows if frequent and strong erections as soon as 3 weeks after the operation can cause damage to the corrections they made.

Thanks. I appreciate that it might be a question to ask a doctor, but I am just looking for a general opinion. Thanks again.

My personal experience, I kept those to minimum as much as I could.
I am 4 months post Nesbits, I was de-gloved and my sutures around my circumcision line pulled a lot the first few weeks and I iced a lot to keep them at bay as there could be a real chance of pulling stitches.
As to hurting the plaque area.....up to the doctor.
Good luck!

Your body has its own defense mechanism. Usually the pain you feel is enough to cause you erection to subside. And this should happen before any damage is done.

Gnarly,
I also did all I could to avoid erections. They were not pleasant, so it was pretty easy to do. Keep an ice pack handy. Your stitches are supposed to be able to withstand erections. It feels like they are tearing out, but they are not supposed to. Your doctor knows the forces your penis will endure and stitches accordingly. If you are where you can, slap that ice pack on and any erection will go down. If you see fresh blood, then you might call your doctor about it. Don't panic. It's all a part of the healing process. Think about a brick wall.

At night especially they are getting pretty strong. And they're common too. I'm just worried that it will do damage when it's almost 4 weeks after surgery. Are the stitches actually still in or have they dissolved by 3 to 4 weeks? Thanks. I appreciate all the input.

The stitches not suppose to dissolve.
They suppose to remain there forever, to keep your penis strait.

I assumed, because I was de-gloved you were concerned about those stitches as I was.
Internally I did have a good amount of discomfort, initially with erections. Expected in retrospect as you are altering the direction by tucking and pulling in the opposite.
I was instructed to pull on the head and massage the length as I was healing to keep things supple, not their words mine.
Hope you're doing better this week.
