Hi all,

I m in Peyronies Disease for last 3 years. Started pentox, arginine, Cialis for 2 years.Last one year pain was in stable condition, lump size decreased, curve decreased, sometimes bit pain  after sex specially due to the position factor but manageable. Only concern my tool is shrinking in size, lost 1.5 " in length and 1" in girth.  I have started VED for one month. I pump 80% and no pain during that time. But after VED I feel light swelling sensation for few hours. Sometime it happening after few hours of VED exercise. Is it normal? I hope if I can continue VED may be of benefit for me to regain lost size.  Pls advise what is happening?

Best regards,

Chand

chandnitare.........You may be pumping up too much.  Try starting with a 50% pump, and slowly work up.  The swelling, if no pain, may be your member just getting full of blood.

NeoV

Swelling under the skin or swollen vein like structures below the glans indicates lymph damage and edema. Lower the pressure and try holding less.

Certain peyronies experts (Tom Lue) has been quoted saying that slight edema is not dangerous, and I don't think it is, but you should avoid making edema worse.

You may know from my posts that I have had edema for 5 months after damaging a lymph vessel last year. It became so severe that my abdomen became numb and even my hands and feet became slightly swollen. I even noticed it in my face! Try telling that to a doctor ;)

Avoid any feeling or tightness or mild stinging during VED.
Keep your sessions short, low pressure, and hold for less duration.

I will second dplookin, also in my opinion swelling is there after VED for me also.
80% pumping sounds aggressive to me also.

Well wouldn't you know it.....if it's not one thing it's another...I started VED therapy about 2-3 weeks ago...with some good results in that my penis would become nice and plump, etc....now I've noticed I must be allergic to the lubrication that came with the device..recommended by "old man"..the vitality whatever...I've gotten all red dots patches on my penis and they itch.....anyone know of a lubrication that's maybe hypoallergenic??....or if you've had the same problem what did you do?
...It's something I guess I could live with, but being single with a new girlfriend who knows what she'll think seeing my penis looking like I have something... (an STD..which I don't)...any help would be appreciated. THanks

Try the lubricant of the ultrasound device. Some people using it with no allergic side effects.
I am using simple sunflower oil.
Maybe send a PM to Old Man (sorry Old Man, giving you work :) )

I just sent a PM to Old Man to update him on my progress. At his suggestion I switched over to KY Lube and it is much better. The itching and redness is practically gone. I went for my f/u appt with my URO-Peyrones specialist and he had encouraging news. He examined me manually and could not locate the nodule he felt on my penis at the first appt. I too have noticed a difference.....My situation I believe is I developed fibrosis from TRIMIX injections that has yet to harden into plaque....between the oral treatments and the daily VED therapy I think and he does too, that we can arrest the disease...He said by no means am I out of the woods, but if I can maintain whatever progress I can through the acute period.....he said and I agree you can live very well with what you have....which is a very slight barely noticeable curve to the left, and a very slight hour glass effect on the same side..I am so glad I came across this forum because I read one post when I first discovered it that said.."Run don't walk to your URO doc when you first have symptoms..."
And that I did.....I will be staying faithful to doing the VED protocol daily, take my oral meds and continue to hope for the best.

This what we are advising for new members :)
Happy to read that you have improvements.
My 3 hourglass's disappeared also while using VED, Pentox, Cialis and Ubiquinol.
We had some recent debate regarding injections causing plaques, you are an additional example that injections may lead to Peyronies.

Hi James,

I am now pumping now 50% not to be aggressive by pumping 80% as you pointed out. Now swelling is tolerable, but I am doing it for 2 days and resting for 1 one day. Any VED is better  then no VED theory lolz!

chandnitare

Finally I may be in comfortable state with VED, no pain, start 50% for 5 min, go upto 70% for few min and come back to 50%, oh its good and creating hope! where are James 1947  and Old man, I owe you MEN a lot!!!!!!!

james1947

I will just thank to Old Man, as he was my Guru. :)

I always have swelling after a session of VED-(15 min only). Mostly in the foreskin. Old Man said I could be pumping to full tilt too fast. I think the swelling is just a part of the process, and does not seem to cause any damage. Regards Inkhorn

chandnitare

I had swelling, but pumping reduced to 50% and its gone.
