Peyronies or fibrosis?

Hi all,

2 years ago i started suffering from ed. No morning wood, no libido. Nothing. This is wierd coz i m not even 33 yo.

In june 2012, I went to the urologist whi just gave me cialis. It used to work wonders.

After that i came across a forum call yourbrainonporn and i thought that massive porn use could be the cause of my problems. Tryied to quit porn and masturbation....with poor results. Truth be told, i never managed to stay off porn, masturbation and orgasm for moree than 1 month.

In june 2013, i went to a second urologist: i had dynamic ecodopler of my penis and it turned out that bloodfloo was fine. Moree cialis

In december 2013, i visited the third urologist. He s the one who came up with the idea of using carnitine to fight peyronies (dr. Biagiotti). He said i have some fibrosis in my tunica. He cave me cialis+carnitine.

A few months later i got a uretritis. My penis shrank. Cialis was not effective. Took tons of antibiotic and eventually i managed to eradicate the infection. The bad news is that since then my erection quality further decreased. What worries me the most is that on the right side of my penis an indentation appeared. It is visible when the penis is soft and most importantly when the penis is enflating. However, when i get erected, the indentation disappeared, but my penis displays a mild curvature on the right. My penis has always had a slight bent on the right, but it seems it got a bit worse. If you tell me how to post pics, i can show you.

I don t feel pain, and the curvature is not an issue when i comes to sex. My main concern is lack of erection and libido, which ithink is due to the indentation that mysteriously appeared.

I went back to the third urologist, who said i have no peyronies and that the indent is just normal. Needless to say, i don t believe that i m fine. I m desperate coz i don t know how to solve it. Perhaps priapus shot and quitting smoking? Any advice is welcome.

Thank you everybody

Quitting smoking is always a good idea. Especially when it comes to penis health.
I don't think anyone can smoke while having a healthy penis.

Beyond that obvious point, I'd say try the VED for any dents and just for better erection quality all together. Be careful and educate yourself about it first of course. Prp shots are looking great.

Be very careful with your penis when you masturbate and never masturbate with a less than hard penis.

About porn and masturbation frequency. A month is too long and just unreasonable.
A problem is that all of us extremists either masturbate almost daily, or try to quit for a month (I've tried too). The whole point with masturbation and porn is that a less frequent and dependent state is best for testosterone, erection quality, and such. I would advise against abandoning any regulation there.

Milione,
It was I who removed your other post. Please take a few minutes to read the forum rules. Double posting is not allowed.

I also think the VED would help you. Used properly, and all the info is here, it is perfectly safe. It can help with the dent and the curvature. It also can help stimulate blood flow. Good luck to you.

Millone,

You might want to have your blood tested to see if your testosterone level is normal.

Already tested hormones, tyroid, diabetes... Everything s fine.

My personal opinion, based on no scientific evidencevwhatsoever, is that my condition is the result of lots of sex and masturbation (2-3 ejaculation a day since the age of 12) combined with 20-30 marlboro a day.

Good news is that cialis 2.5 mg is effettive for me. If i take it daily i feel great and even if i take it randomly i can totally feel it.

What is not clear at all is what sort of condition i have. Afterall i have no calcification. The indentation is not there with erect penis. This escludes Peyronies Disease, correct?

Still the question remains. What s my problem? Hard flaccid? some simple fibrosis? It s all in my head?

Thanks a LOT for ur comnents, they are very much needed

Not correct.
You have to see a doctor to know.
And if it is Peyronies, in my opinion Cialis alone will not stop the disease from progressing.
I was adding Pentox, CoQ10 and VED. Again, my private opinion.

James is right,

I also attribute my Peyronies to over masturbation along with all the other factors.

Take a break man, try VED for that dent, and other supplements and pentox maybe. Good luck!

Thanks guys. The third urologia t i saw is dott. Biagiotti, the guy Who patente d the use of carnitine for Peyronies Disease. He s supposed to be competent. After palpation and basal ecodopler his diagnosis was fibrosis but no plaque. So He excluded Peyronies Disease.

When questioned about the indentation (flaccid state) he said it s normal.

Should i visit a different urologist?

I d like to post some pics to have your opinion. How can i do it?

I don't understand the difference between fibrosis and plaque.
In my opinion you should find an other urologist.

James, perhaps i messed up with the Peyronies Disease lingo.

Anyway, by plaque i mean a well defined calcified mass of fibrotic tissue. By fibrosis i mean the presence of diffuse not calcified areas of fibrotic tissue.

james1947

Maybe I am wrong, but as I know, plaques may be calcified or not.
If the uro calls the not calcified plaque fibrotic tissue is fine for me :)
