VED still works

The mood of the forum has been very focused on PRP shots (I'm very excited about them too), so I thought I'd just write this real quick.

I tried using VED for the first time in nearly FIVE months since my lymphocele.
My edema is still present, though not as bad as before. It may be too early to use the VED, but I did it anyhow.

The VED still works. Even pumping at low levels for a short amount of time, makes my penis hang fuller, makes the hourglass less apparent, and makes my erections more solid. I really think it's a good tool, the difference is just amazing. I'm sorry to those of you who do not get any results from it

My edema has been devastating, making my entire abdomen numb all the way to my face when I lie down.
Everything I touch feels like rubber and it's induced what seem to be neurological problems. No doctor or urologist has had a clue as to why this is. Be careful of lymph damage. Tightness or stinging should be avoided. Pump LOW for lymph vessels, not just for the penis.

NeoV,

What you're talking about seems germane to a problem I am having with my VED, so I wonder if you had any input. I have been using it daily (with one 4 day break) since the end of December. At first, erections were great, size and girth increased and my desire to masturbate skyrocketed. For the last month or so, I have had a definite lack of sensitivity and it takes a LOT of fantasizing to "help" the VED get me erect. I have noticed the plaque on the left side of my shaft seem to get larger with indents on either side of the lump more pronounced. Most importantly, I not only have a curve midway up my shaft to left, but yesterday my whole semi-erect penis pulled to the left and touched my thigh. I have been very careful not to pump to the point of pain. I have done the 3 step protocol ( 5 minutes at 50%, 80% and 100%) and threw in an extra 3 minutes at 100% vacuum pressure at the end on Dr. Lue's advice. Perhaps you can answer my question: are these symptoms consistent with overuse of the VED? I have stopped using it until I can get some sensation back and I hope the pull to the left is something that is not permanent. I have Peyronies with a 30 degree bend upward and severe ED. I am a healthy 45 year old male.

Thanks!

You have not asked me, but I would like to say that your holding time is much over from what we are advising on the forum, it sounds to me too aggressive.
PROTOCOL FOR 3 CYLINDER MEDICAL VED'S, 26 WEEK - Peyronies Society Forums
Your problems may be from there.
It may be also natural advance of your Peyronies.
As I read your posts, I understand that you are not taking any oral medications. Maybe I am wrong.
You are on VED from December but in my opinion you should be also on Pentox, low dose Cialis and Ubiquinol.

Aracadia:

Adding my 2 cents to James' advice. You are definitely way over pumping the pressure with your VED therapy. You should stop doing the therapy for a while to let your penis ''rest'' from too much activity.

There are cautions all over the VED board posts as well as in the protocol that over pumping can and will cause further trauma to ones penis. I know that you seem to be following the doctors suggestions about your VED therapy, but getting a full erection while using the VED for therapy IS NOT THE WAY TO GO!

Please check out the 3 cylinder VED protocol in the VED board section of the home page index and start using it after you have discontinued your protocol for a few days. You may suffer additional loss of sensitivity if your continue abusing IMHO with your present activity. Your penis is a very sensitive ''tool'' and your must take very good care of it!!

Arcadia, I'm sorry to hear about your sudden curve. Do
you do any traction via hands it a device?

I know that loss of sensation can be from overuse due to lymph damage or strain. In my case I lost sensation in my penis and stomach and all throughout my body after holding too long and getting the "doughnut effect" or bad edema.

My best guess is that you have reduced sexual arousal purely from over masturbation.
My best results were when I used the VED without masturbating after.
It's entirely possible too, that your holding times are too high and you may have minority hurt yourself but I have a hard time believing that. Give sex and stimulation a little break and see how things work out.

Hope that curve goes away!

Thanks Guys,

Yes, I am going to take a break with the VED and lay off of masturbation. Strangely, the first day of the layoff I had the largest spike in my natural libido in months.  I think the three minute hold with the VED was way too much. I am taking daily Pentox, CoQ10 and a host of other supplements to help with circulation and nitric oxide production. I was on daily Cialis for a few months, but had no improvement, so I take it now only when I am testing the waters. I am coming up on a year without sex and am going to look at alternative options on the forum. I have been using the single cylinder device, but will look into the 3 cylinder section on the forum. Have any of you heard about peripheral nerve therapy? Someone on this forum mentioned a Dr. Dellon and a couple of testimonials from his site had men regaining their sex life after a complete lack of sensation and severe ED. It involves surgery, so I am skeptical but will explore all avenues. Thanks again!

For your attention, Pentox works better for softening/shrinking plaques if it is taken with low dose Cialis.
