Hello all,

First of all, let me thank you for reading my post. I find this forum full of support and information. For that I signed up to see what you guys think about my issue.

First of all, I don't have a bent penis. However, in the past few days I started to develop penile pain while erect. I started to look into it online, and I only found that such a symptom is related to Peyronie's Disease. Then I started to inspect my penis, I saw a red spot that is slightly swollen. The thing is, I've had this for years. However, it can qualify as scar tissue I believe. Now I am freaking out. Is my penis going to bend in time? Could it be something else? You guys seem to know a lot about this condition, for that I came for assurance. I will definite see a doctor, but as you all guys have said, Uros aren't necessarily good at diagnosing this.

Can my symptoms mean something else other than Peyronie's diease?

Again, I thank you for reading my post, and I thank you for your replies. I am just a 25 year old guy who's freaking out.

Wish you all the best :)

If you can see a red spot then this is on the skin covering your penis. This is not scar tissue. Scar tissue develops in the tissue called the Tunica. Google this as there are many pictures and explanations of this. So I think you can relax and don't assume you have Peyronies.

Thanks a lot for such a quick response, and a relieving one.

I guess you mean the red lump is caused by something in the outer skin, while Peyronie is more concerned with an injury in the inner parts of the shaft, am I right?

I really feel a lot better already by your response. My last question, from your experience, what can cause this penile pain when having an erection? I know there can be many reasons, but I would appreciate any input.

Thank again.

The best thing to do will be to see a good urologist.
He will make you blood and other tests to find out the problem.

Is the pain dull or acute?

Is the pain localized in a specific area?

Have you noticed any other symptoms or issues?
