I have been on oral medication and supplements for the past month or so, including Pentox, Cialis daily, L-Arginine and L-Carnitine, and a few others.
I can say that after nearly 1 year of weak to no erections, my situation has vastly improved!
I have erections every morning, and always at night when I wake up.

However, there is now pain associated with the erections.
Mostly situated around the glans, it is almost like I am getting too much blood going these days.
I notice the pain mostly in the morning.

Has anyone else experienced this vast improvement, couple with the pain companion as well?
I had did not have erection pain, for the most part, before I started my treatments.

You may just be getting used to having "hard" erections again.

Are you getting any discoloration in the glans? I've noticed what you describe as well--with low-dose Cialis and the oral cocktail I'm on (ALC, Pentox etc) I get erections more frequently and the erections are very firm (more than what I got naturally before my injury and the onset of Peyronies Disease) but I also get more pain. I also notice that if I get too many in a day some of the other symptoms (such as hard flaccid) will return.

I'm not sure if you had a precipitating injury that caused the Peyronies Disease, but if you did I'm not sure that pain is necessarily good. I think it depends on whether the pain is localized in the area of your injury or not. If you're getting pain in the area of an acute injury, my guess is that the pain is probably not good. This is what my doctor said at least when I reported some localized pain there. At the same time, I've only stopped the VED and not anything else, since I know that high quality erections in general is good in the early stages of Peyronies Disease.

I can relate to this ^, though it's not the result of any medically improved erections - just been part & parcel of the condition for me. Prob has to do with the position of my most prominent plaque (right below my bellend).

Pain around the glans is a hallmark of lymphocele. Check for that for sure, otherwise could be some minor injury or a type of priaprism. Do not let yourself sleep on your stomach and do not roll onto it if so.

Hey guys, I appreciate the responses.
After 4 weeks of rock hard erections and pain at night - it all suddenly stopped.

I had an appointment already set for my doctor, and he suggested backing off the L-Arginine dosage, to remove some
of the stimulus. I did this for a few days, but again, the rock hard erections had already stopped, so now I am back up to 2g X 2 daily.

I still have the pain, under my glans, left side, from time to time. Seems to increase during sexual activity to orgasm, or mildly after VED "3" Cylinder protocol.

There is no discoloration to speak of, and it is not in the location of my plaque - which is near the base of my shaft on the left side, causing an indentation, yet not calcified.

Frustrating disease, for several reasons, including the fact that we must play diagnostician ourselves sense there is so little information.

Many thanks for this forum.

Hopefully those 4 weeks of extreme erections (like I was a teenager again) did not cause any damage...and where did they go? ;)

So Douglas Hall, your treatment including Pentox, Cialis daily, L-Arginine and L-Carnitine helped you a lot.
Happy to read your post, can see the light at the end of the tunnel. :)
Can you tell us what are the other supplements you are taking?

Hi James,

Here is medication/supplementation dosage list:

Pentox 400mg 3 times daily
L-Arginine Powder 2g twice daily
Acetyl-L Carnitine Powder 2g twice daily
Cialis 5mg daily
Ubiquinol 200mg twice daily

while continuing with these vitamins I started roughly 3-4 months before being diagnosed.

250mg Vitamin C (now using 1000mg in the last 4-6 weeks) daily
250mg Magnesium daily
5000mcg Biotin daily
1000IU Vitamin D3 daily (10,000IU every few months as my Vitamin D levels were nearly off the charts low shortly before being diagnosed)

Somewhere in the middle of the 4 weeks of painful extreme erections I started:

1000mg Propolis twice a day
160mg Bilberry 36% daily

Again, out of nowhere the painful rock hard erections stopped. Now, I get varying degrees in quality of nocturnal erections without pain.
My onset of this disease started during one of the most stressful periods of my life: Diagnosed at Age 37, but at Age 35 I had stopped working out entirely, had poor eating habits, little sleep, as I had returned to college with part/full time employment.

I hope that VED, traction, working out, and getting my diet in order will return me to my pre-Peyronie's state - actually, I hope even better!!!
