Hi,

I want to understand:

1. Peyroines will always cause ED?
2. Once I get ED with Peyronies Disease , is there any hope I will be cured?
3. If I need to use ED drug regularly, I will become dependent forever?
4. I have mild to moderate ED. I can have sex without ED drug with a moderate erection, but I like to do it using drug for better erection and satisfaction, am I getting dependent? Is it better to go with drug so that sex be with stronger erection ?
5. Which one is better, getting good erection with drug or cock ring?

Pls share your experience so that many of us can be benefited.

Best regards,

RaiChand

Rai,
Many questions. No, ED does not always come with Peyronies Disease. Many of us only have curve but still get good erections. In that case, we take the ED drugs to increase blood flow, not to achieve erection. Blood flow is the key. I do not know of any studies that indicate a dependence on ED drugs. They are just not something that you get physically dependent upon. Not having used a cock ring, I still would think the ED drugs are better to use. The cock ring is used when you cannot get and keep an erection even with ED drugs. Finally, the ED drugs do not cure you. Peyronies Disease has no cure. There are things, however, that can make your symptoms improve to where the Peyronies Disease is not a problem. All those things are the gold standard treatment on this forum.

1. Peyronies will always cause ED?

You mean permanent ED? In general yes. Established Peyronies Disease, i.e. the scarring of the hull of the corpus carvernosum and consequent tunical thickening often attacks deeper structures after a while leading to fibrosis and eventual impotence.
I've read this in a German dissertation on Peyronies Disease.

2. Once I get ED with Peyronies Disease , any there any hope I will be cured?

Best thing is to take PDE5 inhibitors at a low dose as long as possible to improve ED and avoid the fate of generalized fibrosis for as long as possible.

3. If I need to use ED drug regularly, I get dependent forever?

If you have ED forever and it does not improve after say 1 year of daily Cialis, yes. 1 year is the amount of time
which has been described in research papers (just google constant daily tadalafil and fibrosis).

4. I have mild to moderate ED. I can have sex without ED drug with a moderate erection, but I like to do it using drug for better erection and satisfaction, am I getting dependent? Is it better to go with drug?

It is better to take it daily at a low dose (e.g. 5 mg Cialis), see above. It's a very bad idea to have sex with a "moderate erection". Some of us got into this mess by doing just that.

5. Which one is better, getting good erection with drug or cock ring?

Neither. Getting good erections while you sleep is the most important thing. And for this daily Cialis helps (cf. 4.).

Hi emasculated,

Many thanks for your suggestions.

As I have mild to moderate ED, should better I have daily Cialis @ 5mg? Now I am taking 2.5mg.

I read a bunch of stuff and I don't claim anything to be true.

I don't claim it to be true. I just claim that this has been observed on a randomized population of patients.
