So I went to the doctor's today to talk about VED pumps with them. I've had pain, inflammation and hourglassing for three months now. The guy (not the doctor, some other dude) wanted me to try it and HE did the pumping. I told him right away after a few pumps that it was uncomfortable but he seemed to want to induce as much of an erection as possible. I thought my wincing and saying "that hurts" would tell him to stop but he kept going. and going. not sure how many pumps in total. I was nowhere near normally erect but the pressure was intense. As soon as he was done I tried to get the constiction band off but it was SUPER tight and so that also hurt taking off.

I'm incredibly pissed off and scared. The guy was like, I've been doing this for twenty years, you can't hurt yourself with a VED. This wasn't reassuring at all since I've spent time on this site and he may as well have held up a sign that said I'm Full Of crap at that point. It's been about an hour and a half since then and my penis is still hurting and it looking puckered up on once side where the hourglassing is usually most severe.

I am kicking myself for doing this AT ALL given that recently my erections have returned and been almost back to their normal self (like 3/4 of what my size was) which is a big improvement.

I am so pissed off at this guy. He printed off some study where VED was used for Peyronie's patients in order to "reassure" me but it didn't at all. The study was for guys whose Peyronie's had been stable for years. And they also probably WENT SLOW. Mine is still very much active and now of course I'm super pissed off that I just went back to day one in terms of healing. I'm really mad at myself right now.

Who is this "some other dude"? A doctor? A nurse? A product vendor? I am confused as to why this person was at your uro's office, let alone getting access to the jewels.

That said, you're probably fine. As long as there is no bruising or swelling after a few days there should be no permanent damage. Are you on other medications for Peyronie's? Pentox maybe? If not, I suggest getting started. Pentox solved my pain problem in a matter of weeks.

What was he, the physician's asst?  You need to talk to the physician.  In my opinion, a VED should NEVER be operated by someone else - it's imperative that you be able to feel what's going on, go slowly, and back off when there's true pain.  You don't just go from 0 to 60, you kind of nurse it along until it gets there.  That moron should have known better, of course, but I wouldn't worry too much.  Anything you're feeling right now is probably 90% psychological based on anger and worry.

Still, I'd discuss this with the doctor so he tells moron to let the patients do the pumping themselves.

I don't have more to add except that I am very surprised by you not action to stop this strange pumping.
He tied your hands and your legs so you can't move and stop him?

How you get to your conclusion that:
Quotethis forum is getting more and more creepy
Or you just want to initiate a debate?

There were this guy recently who wants to write a novel about peyronie's and now this guy who lets a stranger touch and even hurt his penis.

People here are slowly going nuts.. with me together.

Strange things happen in the wide world of penises. That is why we are all here.  ;D

The guy said he would show me how it's done. I thought it was weird but trusted that wasthe protocol. He was like a physician's assistant type guy who is evidently solely responsible for VED training at this mens health clnic. I guess my "some dude" comment is making people think a hobo wandered into the waiting room with a VED.

james, I'm not sure who here has used a VED but this guy pumped a few times. I said ouch, that hurts, assumed he would stop, and instead he pumped several more times very quickly. In the blink of an eye it was done. There was nothing to be done.

Thanks for the valuable feedback, damian. I'm not sure how you have Peyronie's and have somehow avoided having a stranger touch your penis, pretty sure that's how you get an official diagnosis—having a doctor examine you. I didn't know my doctor before I saw him, nor this medical assistant. But good for you for kicking someone when they're down. You're a real asset to this community.

mjoas: Learn your lesson now. You're obviously with the wrong doctor. This one is an incompetent moron, including his assistent. Find a Peyronie specialist with recommendations from people here as close to you as possible and stick with that guy. As I told you before I've been through the clueless (put mildly...) urologists myself and it's a waste of time, money and possibly dangerous.

damian: What did you expect? ;)

Mjoas,
I can see how that could happen. I mean, you trust these people, whom you are paying for their knowledge and experience, to be "knowledgeable and experienced". Even if I were asked to use a VED on someone else, I would know that he has to control the pressure. This assistant obviously had not used a VED. As said, lesson learned. I bet you won't let that happen again! Neither will anybody else who has read this. Thank you.

Very sorry this happened to you. Shoot, I hurt myself with VED and I was doing the pumping! And I thought I was being careful! I'd like to try again but now I'm scared to death of the the thing.

Add that to the freak factor damiam. Full grown man scared of a plastic tube. :-X
