Sorry if this is the wrong place for this, first of all. I've told my story elsewhere but to sum up I was injured about 10 weeks ago and then the pain began and ED set in and indentation, curvature to the left, hourglassing when flaccid, often cold to the touch when flaccid, and so on and so forth.

In these 10 weeks I've seen 7-8 (I've lost track) urologists, no exaggeration. Many of those were pointless visits with doctors with little to no interest or knowledge in sex medicine. But some were with specialists—one was useless, one was kind but seemingly not very knowledgeable, one was well-regarded but a jerk who barely spoke a sentence to me, and the last one seemed knowledgeable and nice.

The last guy did the first real thorough exam I've had and said he thought he felt a band of tissue and a hard spot where I reported the injury was. He was reluctant to diagnose Peyronie's right away because he wanted the exams and lab reports from some of the aforementioned docs. He did, however, say there's cause for concern. First of all, though, he wants to get me testosterone levels up.

All of this is to say I still don't have an official diagnosis and I'm still no closer to getting a scrip for Pentox and I'm getting closer to having had this for three months. I called his assistant to ask about Pentox and I was told it's "junk."

I really don't want to order it via some sketchy online pharmacy but at this rate I don't know what else to do. I really thought the Boston area would be a good place to find good doctors but so far it's been this crazy journey just trying to find someone who seems to know anything about Peyronie's and then when they do to get this medication that's been shown to help!

Does anyone have any suggestions? I've talked to my primary care about my injury and symptoms and he was understanding but I doubt he would prescribe a medication if the specialist is unwilling to do so. That said, I've been toying with the idea of writing him and attaching links to Pentox studies, to see if he will make an exception for me.

When I drove to the specialist here in Germany I already knew beforehand that he would prescribe Potaba, Cialis as is usually the case here. So I printed out the full text studies on Pentox from the university clinic library where I was staying because of my pain (they couldn't help me there at all.. but that's another story..). The guy then prescribed it to me for "off-label use" as he put it. My advice print out all the studies on Pentox and hand them to the specialist at your next visit. I highly doubt he denies you a prescription then..
