Chef Chris

Hi I was diagnosed whit Peyronies Disease in September but I got it in July last year. I live in Sweden and the 2 urology doctors I saw told me to wait and se how ever I did not follow there advise I have bean using traction 3-5 hours a day and I am currently on
Vitamin e, l-arginin, acetyl l-carnitine, q10 and tental that I bought online at goldpharma.com
(I hope it's the real stuff). Anyway so far I have not seen any improvement I still have a 40 degree upward curve but I don't have any pain. I am interested in trying VED but I don't know if it's safe to use so close to when I got the condition I have heard that you should wait 18 month until you are no longer in the acute face. I would be very thankful for advise in this Mather. And thanks for a great forum that helps me cope whit my situation.

Chef- welcome to this unfortunate fraternity. Just like the advice you got "to wait" and see what happens from Uros was wrong, it is also wrong to wait for using VED. Start now. Go the VED boards on this forum, and if you need any further instructions PM Old Man. Regards Inkhorn

Worst thing to do is to wait!!! I have done it for three years and the results are devastating.
You are not saying what are your symptoms, but yes, I would advise you to use VED. Just don't over-pump.
Maybe you should add 2.5 mg Cialis, together with the Pentox it may help reduce the plaques size (if you have)
What are your symptoms? How the doctor decided you have Peyronies?
Regarding:
Quoteso far I have not seen any improvement
Not progressing is already a big achievement. Just continue with your treatment.

Chef Chris

OK thanks for the advise and welcoming to the forum inkhorn and James

My symptoms are a up word curve 40 degrees that came on rapidly after a trauma having sex whit my wife. First I just Had pain when I had an erection than the curve came rapidly and plack first a little 1 the right side now I have 3

One on the right side one Small on the left and then one that feels like its inside the middle of the penis. The pain diseperd after a month.

And the doctors both came to the conclusion that I Had Peyronies Disease and said that they cold do nothing for me be for the acute face was over then they said I cold get an operation if the symptoms where bad and I was an Abel to have sex.

They know nothing of Pentox or tentral for peyronies even do I found it just by googling. And Xiaflex we don't have in Sweden they said. It scary that the no ledge is so bad here in Sweden that you have to bye your drugs on line.

James you mentioned Cialis where do I get a hold of that?
And how long are you suppose to take this oral medicines?

Kind regards Chris

Sounds like Sweden Chef Chris.. :'(
Put out my own diagnos in nov 2013. When it exactly started i dont know, came under a divorce process (god timing...) so i did not look at my erection for a few months so it could have started earlier but november 2013 all of a sudden i had a sharp left-upword bend for about 15-20 degree, directly felt a little plague on the left side. Not much pain, just a little, not big problems with erection except for the physiological effect..
Have been to se a "specialist". "Nothing to do, just wait and se, live your life just normal!" Easy for him to say.. He took ultrasound and found a 1,5X0,7 cm plaque.
If my trouble stays like this i can live with it, i am just 36 years old, but the horrifying thoughts that it could get worse is killing me.
Have also seen my company doctor. He put me on max dose Prednisolon (kortison). He had no (or very little) experience of Peyronie but at least he showed some empaty and involvement and it feels good to do SOMETHING. How about the VED, something you guys recommend? What exactly is it that the VED protocols do to help?

Most people will recommend the VED.  It does help a lot of them.  But, then there are people like me who don't see any improvement.  Maybe it's because My Peyronies is very serious.  I have a large indention with a large bend to the right, and lost quite a few inches in length.  It is an Unusable Tool.  Extreme ED.

But, due to others people's success with the VED, I suggest you give it a try.  The "Old Man" on this Forum can tell you what to purchase, etc.  There should be an entry on this forum somewhere which already gives you that information.

Just FYI

How long time you used VED? Myself got back 1/2" from my 2&1/2" lost to Peyronies. VED is a long slow treatment, consistency is the key.
QuotePeyronies is very serious
So mine. A strong upward banana shape and strong dent to the left. Both calcified, both slightly improved with VED.

How, in medical terms, does VED helps? Is it the positive effect of blood flow, stretching from erection, any other effects??

dplookin

James, I admit that I have used the VED for only a couple of months, but with not any kind of positive results.  But, also, for the last month I have been fighting with Swine Flu, so haven't felt like using the VED but for 2 or 3 times.

Exactly what you wrote and stretching the plaques.

How can a plaque be stretch? Dont seem logic with the calcification. But maybe the areas around the plaque can be stretch to compensate the "dead" area (plaque)?
How are the risks? If you have an inflammation in your elbow you should not play tennis, just let i rest to heal. Stretching inflammated plaque and inflammated areas around it in my world is not good for the inflammation? Rather sounds like high risk to rip up more wounds (=more plaque?). Getting a little confused how the "stress" (VED protocol) of the inflammated areas can do any good and not the opposite? Please explain, dont find any good medical explanation.

james1947

By the way Nord, your definition:
Quote...the "dead" area (plaque)
Is wrong. It is not 'dead", just less flexible. Stretching it gently by VED, traction, massage helped many forum members to soften the plaques, even where calcified.

well..I received my VED today, the manual vitality model Old Man suggested.....I followed what he recommended 5-10 minutes of practice runs...pump up just a little then release....it was strange in that my penis looked like it shrunk to half the size..only since the weekend...BUT and this is a big BUT...I was on 5mgs of Cialis once a day for almost 1 year...that would give me rock hard erections with a pump, sometimes just masturbating...with a 6 inch length and great girth however my doctor took me off the Cialis...and has told me only to take Sendra prior to having any sex.....I have a feeling the only way I'm going to know if I'm making progress once I finish the practice sessions will be to pump while taking Sendra, or another short acting ED drug like Viagra...has anyone ever encountered something like this on the forum with this dilema?...or had it yourself?

From my experience, I have to wait at least two hours after the VED session to have a better erection with Viagra.
I remember reading a post of an other member that experienced the same.
But it may be very individual.
