Besides Old Man, can anyone claim VED significantly reduced their curve or are we to assume those that have don't return to the forum? Sorry to be negative but it's hard not to get discouraged by the weak "improvements" section on this forum and my Uro's claim that most patients do nothing and all the non surgical treatments don't really do anything. And of course you wonder if the small amount that did improve from non surgical methods really just improved on their own.

It's a great question though! We need to hear the success stories to keep us going. My experience with all the typical recommended prescriptions, supplements and VED therapy has thus far been frustrating. I know it takes time but I should be seeing some positive signs of improvement from something by now. We need the success stories to give us encouragement.

I actually feel the same way. I take pentox and all kinds of suppliments. I also use the VED every day.  I do not see any sign of improvement. I actually think my curve is getting worst.  I was very positive in the beginning.  Now I am just hoping I stay the same.

I've done VED all days for 40 days.
No improvments.
Yes, i know that it's a small time but in this forum the only person that says that VED healed him is OldMan.
There is no study that says VED is helpful to remodel fibrous tissue of penis and except OldMan i don't know other people that have remodeled penis whit VED so by now i'm skeptical.

I'm using ved only for a few weeks. I hope to post next year (2015) with positive results. Keep positive all.

I have been on a combination of the treatments here for less than a year and have returned to daily use of the VED since August. I had a dorsal curve of about 45% that popped up 11/2012 and a 30% curve to the right. With this combo of therapy the curve to the right is gone and the dorsal is better by about 10 degrees. I have lost no length or girth during this process. The protocols found here about VED and especially the tutoring by Old Man have been invaluable in my rehab and for general penile health. VED helped me significantly, minus edema from a ruptured lymphatic vessel. I don't know when or how it's going to heal.

My improvements have come from VED, and manual stretching of the connective tissue / ligaments that hold my penis up. Gentle pushing my erect penis down from the base over the last year got rid of my buckling and hinging, and the VED somehow made those improvements even better. Even now, if I give myself some time to induce a strong erection, and stretch it a bit, I can completely rid myself of the dents in my penis. I think I posted this once before, but the sight of it made me nearly cry.

VED did things for me that nothing else did. It allowed me to orgasm without pain and inflammation. It made my penis feel "whole" again rather than segmented by my scar tissue.

I've been off VED for months now due to my injury, and as sad as I am, I do think I'm getting better and I do attribute it largely to the VED.

The only other things I'm doing for my peyronies is taking Propolis and Grape Seed Extract at this time.

I've been using the ved for approx 1.5 months. I've gained approx 1-2cm back and my erections are much firmer. Sometimes I also use the rings during sex since the erection with a ved is nearly like it was before I had peyronie. I've posted under the subject ved first day. I would recommend it everyone. Always follow Jackp and oldman's advices.

I have been using my VED for a little over two weeks and have seen modest improvement in girth and length and seemingly harder erections when I masturbate. The Peyronies Disease curvature to the left seems more pronounced, but Old Man told me that was normal so, for the time being, I am sticking with it.

Now, I'm basically in the same shape I was pre-condition, which I first noticed around the end of 2008/beginning of 2009. I started VED protocol almost immediately after observing symptoms and continued it for about three years.  Over those three years, I noticed several dents and a curve come and go.

One opinion I've formed is that none of us have sufficient evidence to state definitively a cause and effect relationship with any of the favored conservative treatments on this board, including the VED.  But, much of the anecdotal evidence suggests that the VED is one treatment everyone should seriously consider, quickly after diagnosis/observations.  The ugliest dent I had came about a year into VED treatment, but I stuck to the protocol.

So, try and refrain from conclusive cause and effect thinking.  I suggest taking the experienced advice from VED users and have faith.

I hope I made my point which is stick to the protocol for a significant amount of time, through the acute stage and beyond, and don't decide it's not working because, IMO, it might be doing a hell of a lot of good despite worsening.  You may notice that things get worse before they improve which was my experience.

That's fantastic to hear cowboy,

It's posts like this that make me hopeful. I used VED for only a month and noticed major changes, I'll certainly get back on it later this year and with much care.

I have a question... Are you supposed to be flaccid when pumping? I can't help but get excited so therefore I'm erect when I pump...  :-\

Hi,

I have two plaques, one in at the left side where I had a mild dent. After using VED for more than one month, it seem slight improvement is girth at the base but the dent seems to be  pronounced! Why? What should I do?

Best regards,

Chand

You should continue using VED with kindness, not over-pumping.
The dents may be much more if you were not using VED.
Don't forget that VED is a marathon, not a sprint. You will see better results during time.

Really? What about this one?

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20438558

CONCLUSION: vacuum therapy can improve or stabilize the curvature of Peyronies Disease, is safe to use in all stages of the disease, and might reduce the number of patients going on to surgery.

There is also this news item, which is so fresh the study hasn't been published yet--and it's on rats:

http://www.renalandurologynews.com/nonsurgical-peyronies-treatments-compared/article/347465/

It sees more benefits on curving from traction than from vacuum, but more benefits to ED from vacuum than traction, but it found definite benefits on curving from vacuum.

I haven't posted in a while and thought I'd take the time out to do so now....I've been doing daily VED therapy now for 2-3 months and I am very satisfied with the progress...My penile fibrosis is barely detectable by manual examination according to my Doc...I still have a curve to the left in a semi-erect state but is almost totally gone when I'm fully erect....I believe the progress is also attributed to the oral meds and supplements I've been taking as well....the really good news is I now have daily morning erections....that are noticeably firmer...and also during sex...I am dependent on oral ED meds, but that's ok with me...since I haven't injected with Trimix in 3-4 months..I really believe low intensity pumping (thank you "old man") is extremely therapeutic in reducing and possibly reversing penile fibrosis...keep the faith...don't give up..as James said..."Pumping is a marathon, not a sprint"....Be well

Happy to read your post, it is encouraging escpecially taking in consideration the relative short time (three months?) you are doing your treatment.
