The feel?

We/I have been told what using the VED is not supposed to feel like, it's never supposed to cause pain. But i've yet to see it verbalized what it should feel like.

I've started, but sporadically. I have the electric model, as that was only available at the time I saw the VED rep. Pressing that button scares the crap out of me. It just feels wrong. I've seen it said that it's not a turn on or there's nothing pleasurable about using the VED, which is spot on.

I'm going very slow, never once going to full erection. Not even close. I can't say that what I feel is a stinging, but it is somewhat similar.

Is this normal? Could any of you with extensive experience using VED please offer an opinion, how should it feel using the VED?

I've never enjoyed using a VED in the least (I think I have the same model you have, Osbon Esteem), but it's not supposed to be pleasurable (just not painful either.)

I have found that if I get a 75-100% erection on my own, then put it in the VED, the sensation is much more tolerable than trying to go from 0 to 100 in the VED alone.  Starting at 80% or so, the VED will get you to maximum engorgement in mere seconds and you have to be really careful not to overdo it.

Just my experience - many others here have used the VED far more than I have.

i've never got 100% maybe 90% beyond that i get strange stinging sensations (for me)..... from what i  can understand any discomfort is a bad thing?

Old Man, I defer to you completely on this - you're the expert.

I should clarify though - I don't think I was ever actually putting a 100% erection in the VED - in fact, I don't really get a 100% erection since Peyronie's hit back in 2001 - I always have some distal flaccidity that I can fill out by squeezing the base or flexing my kegel muscles, but it won't stay that way.  In reality, I was putting probably a 75% erection in there and pumping to 100%  I was as nervous as anyone about causing more damage, so I can promise I never pumped past the point of my max normal erection. Too scared to, plus it would hurt like the devil.

I've been using VED for a few weeks now and took me a while to figure out the right amount of pressure to use. To answer your question about how it should feel, I would equate it to the sort of full "aching" feeling I used to get when I was 16 and had very firm erections. I'm not saying there is any pain - there should be none. It just feels like my erection at its very best. And, if it ever starts to feel like it's becoming really uncomfortable, I press the release button very lightly to back the pressure down just a bit. I recommend working up to an 80-90% pump and pay close attention to find your limits as you progress, finding what feels right. No stinging, no pain. Maybe a little uncomfortable but that's all.

But, others make good points in that VED is about engorging the penis and proving some tissue stretching. You don't need a 100% erection to to that. Start slow. Find what feels right. Others might have different opinions but this is what works for me.

CSUS,

Stinging is most likely coming from the lymphatic vessels. What started as stinging ended me up having to quit VED all together, and my penis is now swollen with edema every single day with no sign of improvement. I can't say I even had strong stinging. It was subtle, even my so called "injury" did not feel like any injury at all, but the lymphatic vessels became damaged. I'm heart broken and now faced with another issue apart from peyronies itself every time I see my penis. I hate the way it feels and am wondering what to do next.
