Basically, I want to know if marijuana will help or damage the condition. What do you think?

Skjaldborg

Probably won't hurt it. There are no studies on this. As far as helping, marijuana might help with pain. I do not think it will reduce curvature or other symptoms.

Shinigami,

There a people on these forums convinced that Marijuana caused their Peyronie's. I expect they will chime in shortly. At this point I'm not sure if any evidence exists on either side unfortunately. In general, be healthy, and your Peyronie's should have at least have a chance to improve.

Mentos

Smoking the chronic will lower your testosterone. If stay off for a minute.

Skjaldborg

Mentos is correct. I forgot to mention in my comment that heavy marijuana use can result in a decrease in testosterone, which we know is a factor in developing Peyronie's.

However, marijuana use is very widespread in the US and Canada and parts of western Europe, yet incidence rates for Peyronie's do not seem to have followed the trend. Marijuana and low testosterone might contribute to the disease for people who are genetically susceptible, but won't "cause it" to occur.

Probably a good idea to not use it or use it in moderation.

I asked Dr. Lue at my first appt with him last year if I needed to stop smoking marijuana. He said no it wasn't harmful and it wouldn't exacerbate the peyronies.

Booyah, that's the answer I needed; from a doctor. Thank you.

I only smoke a bowl per night just so that I can actually sleep. I don't have an ED problem, which is the biggest concern when smoking anything. You lower testosterone, as Mentos mentioned, and if ED was your problem, you should probably halt.

Dr. Lue answer makes me wandering :(
Any kind of smoking reduces the oxygen supply to the body parts. This what my cardiologist told me when I had an hearth attack back in 1995. And also causing narrowing of blood vessels.

For me, marijuana is a sexual stimulant like no other. I don't know any other guy that has this kind of reaction to it.

Within a few minutes of smoking it, I go into a sexual frenzy of epic proportions. I got rock hard erections without the use of a VED or cock ring. It's unreal. Now, if I only had a girlfriend.  ;)
Got Testosterone?
