Hello to everyone around the World
« on: December 05, 2013, 01:49:50 AM »

Hey Guys,
My name is Ang from Australia and have been diagnosed with Peyronies about 5 months ago. My urologist is quite a novice and has prescribed me 5mg Cialis daily and Colchicine 500mcg daily. I'm also taking Vitamin E, Ubiquinol and using VED daily without any results. I feel I'm not only not improving, but getting worse. Psychologically I'm not coping at all. I have lost about 2 inches in length and about 1 inch in girth, and I have about a 40% bend....even with all the medication. I find it difficult to have a hard erection, and if I do manage to get one, I can't sustain it due to leakage. My sex life is non existent! I'm about to try to get my hands on some Pobata and Accolate, hoping that this new medication might help. I'm glad I found this forum but reading everyone's story depresses me because no one has had any real success with anything they've tried, everyone has just learned to live with this dreaded disease. Guys I'm open to any and all suggestions....have medical insurance and the funds just need a cure. Please don't hesitate to email me if you have something that may help me, because I'll try anything. Thanks for listening to my story and I'm looking forward to hearing from some of the "wiser" heads on this wonderful (yet depressing) forum.
Kind regards Ang

Hi Angpin,

Welcome to the forum. The medications you are on can be effective, particularly Cialis. I would suggest adding pentox, which many members, myself included, have found helpful.

Also, minor pet peeve: You said "because no one has had any real success with anything they've tried"

That is objectively not true. There are members of the forum who have had success with VED, pentox, Cialis and Viagra, supplements like l-Arginine, CO-Q10, graft and plication surgery and penile implant surgery or various combinations thereof. I would suggest giving the topics another read through. Yes, there are people who vent and who are frustrated (we all are sometimes) but remember that the people who see improvements tend to move on with their lives and don't post on the forum as much.

I had personal success with pentox. I had pain, hourglassing, shortening and some (minor) curvature. Pentox got rid of the pain in a matter of weeks and I saw improvements during the 8 months total I took it. Since being off of pentox (it's been 3 years now), I have improved further, and am about 90-95% what I once was as far as size goes. Not perfect, but pretty damn good. Performance-wise my erection quality is as good or better than when I was in my 20's because I exercise and take care of myself (now mid 30s).

Peyronie's was once the most devastating thing to have happened to me, now it's barely in my top 5.

Best,

Skjald

Hi Skjald,
You're 100% correct, I am venting my anger because I'm at the early stages and not coping well mentally, and I apologise for that. I, after reading what you've said, will order some Pentox (Trental) online because it's unavailable in Australia, and pray that I have similar results to you. Once again thank you for your kind and supportive words.
Kind regards Ang
