I am 18 years old. After masturbating for about 2 hours atraight i started to feel a lump on my penile shaft. It looks like a rubber band and it is on the right side of my penis. It hurts when i masturbate and for a little while when when flacid (after masturbation). After about 5 days of having this lump i took a 5 day break from masturbating. Then when i started to masturbate again there was no pain but the lump was still there. Everything seemed fine for about a week. Then i took my medication (adderall) and also ended up masturbating for around 2-3 hours. (Adderall is a vasoconscrictor which means that there is less blood goin into your penis than there normally is. This is why it is harder to achieve ejaculation and that is why i was masturbating for so long) after this long sesion of masturbation, the pain came back again. The rubberband-like lump is decent in size but it seems to be soft and pretty thin. There is no curvature of the penis at all. Just pain. I first noticed the lump about 3 weeks ago. Is this peyronies or a lymphocele? Or is it from over masturbation or something to do with Adderall's vasoconstritive properties? Please help, all replies will be greatly appreciated.

Hey Anick, I first had peyronies symptoms at 18, 26 now.

Peyronies is not always a clear cut diagnosis, so you could have a manifestation of "peyronies" which is scar tissue without anyone ever noticing or any doctor ever really telling you accurately. Some of us have these "bands" or "cords" and do not know what they are at all, and for those of us who got better, they seem to often times go away.

Now this is not to say that peyronies can't be diagnosed. It can and it should be, but in order to do so you need to see a specialist, not a regular urologist, and demand an ultrasound. Some of us haven't even been able to achieve that.
Lastly, just because our symptoms are not clear cut or defined, this does not put us in the safe! Penis trauma is serious stuff, and you should not ignore it. Treat it like a broken bone, I'm not kidding you. If I could I would have prevented all this. I am lucky to be recovering now, but I lost everything. This is serious and it can destroy you if not addressed on all levels. I don't want to scare you or assume you aren't taking this seriously, but I just mean that right now please try to take a deep breath and take things slowly. If you have peyronies, you would simply need to try to stop all sexual activities anyhow. Learn all you can and take it easy.

My peyronies also started as bands, and they got worse until I finally addressed them.
You need to give your penis a rest. Chronic inflammation in the penis can be the result of micro-trauma aggravated by masturbation.
Try to break the cycle and let your penis just be for a while. If you have pain in your penis, do NOT masturbate.

If it is peyronies you could get on the classic treatments here (which help immensely), and you could look into supplements to counter any vasoconstricing effects, but I don't know what is safe with adderall : / Anyone know?
Definitely check out any deficiencies you have. Make sure your vitamin D levels are within good range and anything else you might be missing.

I don't know why it's so hard, but so many of us our plagued with the desire to "check" our abilities so to speak. This just makes things way worse. Try your best and monitor it. And pain is not good! I think some other members here might have more to say than I on this topic.

You need to see a specialist as soon as you can because if it it Peyronies have to be treated NOW.
Masturbation for 2 to 3 hours is too much for any penis, you have to change this habit.
Regarding NeoV sentence:
QuoteIf you have peyronies, you would simply need to try to stop all sexual activities anyhow
(sorry for small P for Peyronies, NeoV didn't pass his post true the speller) the opinions on the forum are divided. Most members and doctors are advising to continue sex activity including masturbation but with care because:
"Use it or lose it"

Thank you very much for replies. I will take a 1 week break from masturbating and see if the pain stops like it did last time. I also forgot to mention that I had groin pain which caused my right testicle to hurt as well. I went to the ER and had a scrotal ultrasound. They said that everything looked fine and it was probably just a groin pull. My groin pain came back the same time the lump on my penis started to hurt...I'm thinking there could be a connection. Once again thanks for the replies and more replies would be greatly appreciated.

As James says you should see a Peyronies specialist. Getting properly diagnosed it a major part of the battle.

Sorry about that James! Not sure why I never capitalize it but I will from now on.

As James says there isn't a real consensus on whether masturbation or sex is good or bad for you, but a needed break may be another issue. I further back up what he says, in that 2 - 3 hour masturbation is too long and can damage the penis. Take some time off and look into seeing a specialist.

Yes, I agree with you NeoV, if you have pain you should make a break from from sexual activity.
