Could this type of curve be peyronies?

Hi guys,

This is my first post here. I'll try to explain my problem as best as I can and thanks for all the help.

In Jan '13, I was masturbating quite a lot, and lightly bending my penis to the right (from the base), and one time, during erection, I suddenly felt a weird sensation near the right part of my penis base, and I lost the erection in a matter of seconds. No sound, no pain, no bruising, etc - just a 'cold' sensation like when you have a cramp in the sea (but way lighter, no pain etc).

Then, long story short, I've been feeling a dull sensation that comes and goes in that area, and my erections have not been the same, even though they have been slowly improving over the months.

Now, a few months ago, I noticed that the angle that my penis projects from my body changed, especially when erect. The penis body is not curved.

But the thing is, it's not the common curve I get with a typical 'peyronies' search on google. Think about the Tower Of Pisa - the penis itself its not curved, but it leans to the right from the base.

The most interesting part it, If i masturbate and lift my right leg a bit, the penis angle goes back to normal and the erection is 100% and perfect (even without stimulation) - for a long time. But if I do the opposite, the erection sturdiness starts fading, and I feel the need of stimulation, as it starts leaning to the right and losing the erection. It looks like it was a bit twisted inside.

So, since I did not find anyone with a similar problem, and my curve is not the typical peyronies curve, I posted here in the hopes of getting some help. I've been to a urologist who said everything was psychological, even though he could not see the curve and we barely talked about it. He did not perform tests, just touched and examined my flacid penis.

Btw, I feel no hard plaque, no pain after erections (except a dull sensation, which is improving).

I am taking the 'wait and see' aproach and of course I now masturbate the opposite way(with the other hand), and Ill never bend or masturbate that roughly again.

Thanks a lot for all the help!

You need to see a Peyronies specialist to know for sure if it is Peyronies or not.
Regarding the symptoms, in my opinion you may have a plaque at right side at the base that restricting blood flow. If you lift your right leg a bit, the blood flow may be released from additional pressure point made by your leg when is strait.
In the mean time, are you doing some treatment?

You could have pulled or tore a ligament on one side which helps hold your penis straight. That would have changed the angle.
As James suggests, it's possible to have developed some scarring there too. In the case that you did tear something there, fascia, ligaments etc. The result can be the scarring of that tissue itself. But I wouldn't jump to any conclusions.

My immediate reaction would be to do some light manual stretching in the area. By stretching to the left, you could see if that helped the potential "scar", and by stretching to the right, you could see if stretching the ligaments on your left side could temporarily elongate them in order to bring balance back to your unit. I cannot safely recommend this since I don't know what's going on, but as far as scarring goes, stretching has helped me a lot, and traction is helping a lot of people with science to back it up. When I say stretch, I mean only very very light pulling of your flaccid penis to one angle.

Also, If you feel deep near the base of your penis, how does it feel? There should be ligament like structures which hold your penis up on both sides that move deep into your body. Check and see if both sides feel the same.

For now I'd take it easy on masturbation, I might be tempted to even ice the area as if it were a penile injury. But then again. I don't know what's going on. The best advice as James suggests is for you to see a real specialist.

thanks guys.

@James: I am not doing any treatment (besides taking vitamin E capsules) since I have not been diagnosed. I know, I am really considering visiting a Peyronies specialist. I read a lot on this forum but I can't find one thing: besides congenital curvature, is every curve a sign of Peyronie? Because mine its not even a curve, its more an unbalanced angle/twist....couldnt it be some reversible damage down there? Btw, we are talking about the inner part of the corpora cavernosa, inside the body.

And doesn't the fact that in certain positions my erection quality and angle is totally normal rule out Peyronie?

@NeoV: Yeah, I thought about some suspensory ligamentent damage. I did the 'gap' test you said, and I can't feel anything abnormal (but of course I am not a doctor). But its probably a very likely possibility, and from what I read, they take a long time to heal. I'll check that strecthing technique you referred.

I am urging you to see a good/qualified doctor as soon as you can to treat your problem with no regard if it is Peyronies or not.
By the way, Peyronies is coming in different ways, symptoms, plaques etc' :(
