Hi,

I am wondering does peyronies effect the skin of the penis? Like the top most part? I notice a line that looks weird and wonder if this is related to peyronies or not. Basically its not the chamber or inner part. Its the skin over the chamber of the penis. Would this be effected by peyronies or is this something different? Should I worry about that?

Peyronie's only affects the tunica albuginea (the tissue covering the erectile chambers), superficial penile skin is not affected. One possible reason is that superficial penile skin is well vascularized and thus less prone to scarring.

Logically, Peyronies Disease should not affect the outer layer of skin. I think all men at one time or another have superficial blemishes on our penis that come and go. I wouldn't worry about it's being related to the Peyronies Disease.
