I googled a bit and found some interesting information on a penile enhancement forum. There was a guy who claimed his penis was bigger over night and his wife received the "Oshot" and her missing clitoris grew afterwards over night too. haha :D

dr. runels received a nice letter from the fda.

Here is the link to the thread : Priapus Shot Received - Penis Enlargement at Thunder's Place

and here some links guys posted in there :

Malpractice & Sanctions Information for Dr. Charles E. Runels Jr, MD - Internal Medicine - Mobile, AL

It wouldn't surprise me if the user from thundersplace "inuic" and "mikehawk" are the same guy.

MIKEHAWK

would not make sense, i do not support Dr.Runel i support whoever practices PRP cause i can see results. Also if i do support Dr.runels i wouldn't be going to get my therapy done in China instead where it's cheaper.

Also I do not believe in the FDA, The FDA is a slave to the big corporations, anyone who is into fitness and raw foods can tell you this.

Did you know that supplements do not need to be approved by the FDA? The Law simply got changed cause someone with money paid them to change it.

Plenty of supplements containing steroids or drugs get slipped in supplement products.

Craze is a supplement that recently got caught with Amphetamines.

So i wouldn't believe everything the FDA spits out. The FDA is like any other business, their out for money.

Mikehawk , I am considering getting this from Dr Varano in Pa. Between the Peyronie's, loss of length and mild ED this sounds like it's worth a try. Did you get the follow up shots. Also now that your had some time since you received your shots, what are your thoughts. There seems to be a lot of reviews both positive and negative about this.

Jed

Its $2000 visit and they want you to use a VED for 6-8 months. Its also a hormone replacement clinic. Thinking about it.

incautious

It's is indeed $2000 a visit, however Dr. Varano says 2-3 shots may be required. That's $6000 ouch! I told him to keep in mind if he ever has a Sale. I've seen some Dr.s Charging $1500 for this procedure. However Dr. Varano Is the only Dr. performing this procedure in the NY metro Area at this time. so there is little incentive for a discount.

The doctor I talked to in Texas who does the Priapus Shot told me that one shot will do the trick. Even though I told him I wanted multiple shots, he insisted that I wouldn't need another shot for 18 months if I wanted to get more benefit. He also told me the soonest another shot should be considered is 3 months.

Hmmm interesting. I am seriously considering getting the one shot and see where it leads. I've managed to reduce my curvature to around 30 degrees( from 45+) thru other methods  so I am curious to see if it really helps speed things up.

Can you give us some details regarding:

Sure. I started with a traction device 1 hr in morning 1hr to 2 hr in the evening. Took 300 mg CoQ10 and 1000mg Vit E. Started using Silicone ADS( all day stretcher) you can find them on ebay. 2 hrs in morning 2 hr  in afternoon. Now here's the part that's bit controversial, I just started on hormone replacement therapy at the same time I first started traction. I'm 58 and my t levels were LOW 88. So after using the traction device I put a pea size of 5% testosterone cream(compounding pharmacy) on my member and add DMSO to make sure it get's worked in.
Then I read that DHT(all saints clinic) may help with the shrinkage/ atrophy part so I did T/DMSO in the morning and DHT/DMSO in the evening. I started seeing really good results after about 2 months. I regained about 3/4" by then and also quiet a bit of girth. So much so that I have a difficult time using the traction device because it's only 1 3/4" wide. So I've switched to a VED. 9"x 2 1/4" Pump for about 30 min to 45 min light vacuum of about 3-5 HG then finish off with around 7 HG usually pump 10 min rest a couple of min and repeat. After pumping T/DMSO in the morning and DHT/DMSO at night. After 5+ months I went from over 45 degree curvature and erect length of  15cm to about 30 degrees and 18cm A big improvement. Now these are not gains as much as it is a return to close to my old length which was just about 20cm. I also take 750 l-citrulline 150 mg pine bark extract daily as well as 5 mg generic cialis (in house pharmacy)three times a week. I went from having great difficultly having sex with wife because of shrinkage and mild ed to , well now the wife is like, oh man again ;-) Mind you my urologist is monitoring my t levels( i don't tell him about the dht) My take is esp the older guys over 40 get your t levels checked. Penile shrinkage/atrophy is a given as you age(who knew) and restoring t levels can help regain lost length which may help reduce curvature.
I told Dr. Varano that I will get one priapus shot, and am waiting for his office to scheduled a date. I will keep everyone posted as to weather this helps reducing curvature further and getting me back to 20cm

Thanks for the detailed treatment report.
I will see what I can implement from your treatment here where I am living now.
I lost 6.5 cm and half girth from my 18 cm penis, now on 13 cm after VED, Pentox, Cialis, Ubiquinol.
By the way, you are taking CoQ10 or Ubiquinol? Ubiquinol may be much more effective as you are older than 40.

incautious,

Thanks for that great info. Having a testosterone level of 88 is dangerous. You can either try raising it naturally or by testosterone injections but you have to do something soon. I'm a big advocate of maintaining a high level of testosterone since clinical studies show a correlation between Peyronie's and low testosterone.

Good luck on the Priapus Shot, I'm hoping to get one asap.

The urologist let you testosterone (T) level drop to 88, WHY?  Your total T level should be in the high end of the lab range and your free T should be about 60% of the lab range.

I went into V tach (sudden death) when a virus struck my heart in February. I am one of 5-8% who survive this thanks to my wife and the paramedics.  As a result I had to stop my T shots for about 3 months and my level dropped to 38.  I am back on my T shots now and feel much better.

My regular doctor dose a much better job of controlling my T than my local urologist.  Shots work better than any other treatment, I have tried them all.

In my opinion you need to see another doctor and get those T levels to the proper range.  It will improve stamina, weight control, libido and mood. A lot of men that were diagnosed with depression got off the anti depressants once there T levels returned to normal.

My urologist did not let my t levels get down that far. I had been feeling really crappy for some time. Was diagnosed with high blood pressure. Felt a bit better after meds, but something was still way off. So family doc  did a bunch of blood work, checked thyroid, check for adrenal fatigue, Lyme etc four page report came every thing was fine but my morning t levels was 200. So family doc sent to me to Uro who did an afternoon level  that came out at 88. Because my insurance is crap he put me on 5% t cream($115/mo) which goes on the sack, and now my t levels are good, I will be getting blood work in the next few weeks to see where I'm at. My point was that I do believe that getting my t levels back did aid in reducing my curvature along with all the other methods used.
Dr. Varano's office will be contacting me on Tues to set up an appointment for the priapus shot. Will take before and after pics to insure that if there are any changes I will be able to document them to anyone that is skeptical. PS  thanks for the tip on ubiquinol. Will get some when I run out of my coq10.

Also here is my thought process on why I chose my routine. There was study done by Italian scientists  Ordera and Gontero that proved that that you can enlarge an adult fully developed penis by an average of 1.7cm by doing traction for 4-6 hours a day for 6 months( this was unheard of). Now think of a flexible drinking straw with that accordion flex in it. Now bend it to say 45 degrees. Now when you stretch it out, it stretches from the bend and as you make it longer you reduce the curvature. So that's how I looked at how to treat my Peyronie's. Instead of trying to reduce the curvature, I did hard core traction to try and lengthen my member and thus reduce the curvature.

Jed

What brand of traction do you have. I have seen some copys from China that look just like the expenses
ones for $20. I think I want to try one to regain size. I also want on that wil fit 5-6in girth

MattFoley

QuoteMy point was that I do believe that getting my t levels back did aid in reducing my curvature along with all the other methods used.

The greatest progress I made was when I was taking massive doses of testosterone. And by "massive", I mean 800 mg/week. My curve went from 90% to 45%. I had to lower the dose because I ran out of money.

I got the traction device form leluv on ebay they call it a hybrid device it was around $50.I think several members here have used it. it is pretty well made. Its not spring loaded which i like, you just add the rods and adjust the thumbscrews. I used a dremel to widen it a bit but its still a tight fit, but they all seem to be no wider than 1 3/4. The issues with all these noose type devices is the silicone tube stretches over time. I used neoprene o ring cord 1/4" i think without a comfort tube. I never used the rubber strap cause of pinching but it may work for you

skunkworks

Not being spring loaded is a very bad thing for a rods and screws traction device. The spring loading means two things:

1. You can estimate current tension to a reasonably accurate number. This is very important.
2. You can move around while wearing the device without significantly changing the amount of traction. Without springs, any movement that makes the device move on its hinge could increase or decrease the force of traction quite considerably. Down is not a worry, up is a big worry.

To be honest I'd recommend no-one ever use a non dynamic traction device. Spring loaded, or elastic banded (for all day stretchers) are an absolute must.
This is an emotionally destructive condition, we all have it, let's be nice to each other.

Thank you both for the info. I have some research to do.

Just made an appointment with Dr. Varano's office for the priapus shot. 2/11/14 That's the earliest available! Just so you know he requires payment in advance, in full $2K ,to lock in that time slot( there is some flexibility to change the date with advance notice because of bad weather ect) . Also he sends out a scrip for blood work to be done in advance( platelet count maybe some other stuff) I will post my results as well as my experiences as they become available. Keeping fingers crossed that this will straiten things out :-)

incautious, good luck. I hope it works out great for you.  :)

Hawk

This is not a traction thread but I want to clarify some misinformation.

There are wide extenders Girth Base

The flat strap never pinches if you first put the memory foam ring on the penis right where the strap applies pressure. Memory Foam Comfort Strap Pads  They are pricy but they last a very long time with decent care.

Finally, Skunkworks is dead on  I would never use an extender without springs.
