Just another unfortunate guy here - need a little clarity

Briefly - a little over a year ago I started having pain when erect (and sometimes subtle discomfort with flaccid, but not much of that).  Saw a urologist twice over a period of months and was never diagnosed with anything.  He couldn't detect any plagues in a physical exam, and I had no curvature or physical deformation to report; erections looked normal.  That is, until about six weeks ago.  I started noticing an upward curve near the base of my penis with a slight hourglass shape as well.  Since then the bend has gradually gotten worse (have not measured but it now looks close to 45 degrees to eyeball it), and within the last week I've also started seeing a dent in one side and slight bend to the left as well.  I would have seen a urologist again for the obvious diagnosis but the timing has been horrible - we just moved to a new state and have no money.  So I have to find a new person and wait for the next paycheck to do it.  Anyway, pain is still there but isn't my big concern, nor is ED (which I don't have) - just the physical changes.

Anyway, I've just started thinking about treatment.  Based on what I read here, I'd like to see a urologist again and get a prescription for Pentox.  I'm also going to start myself on vitamin E.  Question 1: how much vitamin E, how often?

I also see that many of you like VED treatment and I'd like to try that too.  I'm broke but I'll make it happen.  I see that there's a protocol for a 3-cylinder medical device, and some people use a 1-cylinder thing.  I read about half the posts on the VED forum before getting lost.  Is there a substantial difference between the two models?  Why choose one over the other, except for price considerations of course?  I read the 3-cylinder protocol but it wasn't clear to me why you'd use the different cylinders at different times... isn't a vacuum-induced erection about the same as any other, or does the size of the cylinder help enforce a certain amount of straightening..?  Sorry, I'm just thinking too hard about something I know nothing about.

Last question - is there anything you'd recommend for me at this point other than VED, Pentox and vitamin-E?  I know I don't want to get into injections and surgery at this point, if ever.  I'm really in shock about this but if I have something to do that might help, it will hopefully ease my mind and make me feel like I'm back in charge a little bit.  Thanks!

One other thing, while I'm asking many questions - any recommendations for a good urologist near northern Georgia?  The guy I saw in my old state pretty much blew me off both times.  It might have been different if he'd been able to diagnose me, but given just the vague symptom of erectile pain and nothing else, he waved me away once and then told me to try some supplements the next time (in a tone that suggested he thought they were BS).  Very discouraging.  I don't want to see another guy like that.  At the very least I need someone who can and will prescribe Pentox.

Besides Pentox and Vitamin E, my uro also prescribed me L-Arginine 1,000 mg (2 per day).

Same advice. Get to a Peyronie's specialist ASAP. You need an ultrasound, and yes, Pentox, plus the other supplements already mentioned. I would certainly add Alc, too.

Thanks.  Any idea how I can find a Peyronie's specialist?  Really worried about medical expenses, I just have nothing to spend at the moment as we're paying rent here and mortgage in our old place (trying to sell that house, but getting nowhere with it).  I had asked my old doc about x-rays or ultrasound but he seemed to feel that if he couldn't tell anything by manhandling my penis, then those tests would likely be pointless.  The more I think about those visits, the angrier I get.

Based on Old Man's recommendation, I purchased single cylinder manual VED.

I got the manual since it is quiet.  I have teenage kids at home and I do not want them to wonder what their dad is doing.  Also, Old Man told me you have better control with Manual VED.

Coop;
There should be a list of respected Urologists on this site. Hopefully, you can find one in your area.

I appreciate what you're saying about the expense, etc, but you can always buy another house. You can't buy another penis!..

If it is Peyronie's, and it certainly sounds possible, then you need to get started treating it quickly.
