I have managed to put a little over twenty hours. I don't care much about gaining length as I care about curvature improvement. Just by glancing at it, it seems to be a little over 60 degrees. If I manage to get it to 30 degrees, do you guys think that will be enough to have intercourse with no problems?

Danbon- Most want you do to traction some ridiculous amount of hours, some saying 8 is what is required for success. I started out doing 2 hrs, four months ago  and recently reduced it to one hour a day, because of time restraints. Now I try to do 1 hour followed by 20 minutes of VED. Traction cuts off the blood flow, then VED pushes it back in. My feeling is anything is better then nothing. Concerning sex. The only position we have been able accomplish since peyronies is from the rear. Last week we were able to do it missionary style for the first time. So it looks like treatment is at least arresting the curve. BTW there is always a way to have sex. Regards Inkhorn

What was your improvement in curvature? if you don't know exact degrees you can tell me an estimate. I just need to know realistic expectations about my condition Thanks.

danbon- When I first noticed the curve in November of last year, it was 45% dorsal curve that looked like a banana. Shortly there after I also developed about a 25% twist to the right. Started traction and other treatment in May. The 25 to the right went away in about a month. The 45 hasn't changed much, maybe 5%, but it is definitely not getting worse. Most people say traction could take 6 to 12 months to affect  change, the same is said for the VED.Regards Inkhorn

Ink horn-

Do you have calcified plaques? I do and after 18 months of VED and very little improvement I'm only do traction.

Roy:

Do you have any indication of plaque build up that appears to be calcified? If so, that is probably why you have not seen any good results with the VED usage. It is very difficult to get rid of calcified plaque with the VED or most any other therapy.

I am sure that others on the forum can help you with some suggestions though. Hopefully, some one will jump in here and advise you about something that they have done that might help you.

I do what inkhorn does. I use traction and then follow up with VED. Also, the easiest sex position for me is with the girl flat on her stomach, legs spread apart, and then with my legs inside hers, I enter her. Oddly enough, I discovered this technique with an escort girl who had more compassion for me than my bitch of an ex-girlfriend.

Damn! People can be so cruel. But I suppose peyronies teaches you a lot about women. We all have our issues..

I do hours of manual stretching followed by self stimulation to induce very hard erections. It always leaves my penis hanging better afterwards. I'm hoping to start using VED soon, just need to get a friend to ship it to me from the states. My EX wouldn't have sex with me either, but I suspect its for other reasons -- and I think it almost always is regardless of your curve.

From my own experience and talking to others, 30-35 degrees seems to be about the point of discomfort. So yes I think 30 degrees or less is doable for intercourse.

RoyHobbs- I can't answer the question as to whether or not it is calcified. The Uro felt it and I can feel it. The main scar tissue is about an inch long on the middle top of the shaft. I never had an ultrasound, because the diagnosis was easy to see and quite text book to look at. Oral treatment started soon after the curve and traction, along with topical treatment about 6 months after diagnosis. I've been using VED for sex twice a week for 4 years, since prostate surgery, and recently started to add it to my treatment for tis cussed disease. I sure hope it is not calcified, cause I'm doing a hell alot of work trying to correct it. Regards Inkhorn
