Peglegy-Sorry for your journey. My medical history is very similar to yours without the implant. You will find light for the way here from other guys who have had successful experiences with implants. Hang in there, someone will give you some help soon. Regards Inkhorn

Sorry to read your ordeal.
Regarding the implant, is not too early to say it not helped with Peyronies?

It probably is too early, but in semi flaccid state, there is still a significant bend, and very painful to touch.
My Peyronie's was not a single spot......it seemed to be a long fibrous band running the length of my penis. Now that I have an implant....I'm not sure how they are going to rectify the bend and pain without damaging the implant !

Has anyone experienced Peyronie's  symptoms after a penile implant?

You are right it is too early. You may still have pain and swelling from the surgery. You need to be holding your penis up on your stomach, this helps you heal straight and reduce pain. I found that Jockey Pouch Briefs with the H cut help me.  I like the support so well I still ware them after 5 years. If you can not find the briefs try a jock strap.

Once activated, usually at 6 weeks, you should start to see improvement. After your implant is activated inflate it twice a day for 15 minutes. During that time squeeze the pump a few times every 3-4 minutes. This helps the implant expand.

There are several things you need to know once activated. A lot is in my blog. There is a learning curve to having sex with the implant. The first time or two you have sex you will be very sore. I recommend 800mg of Ibuprofen 30 minutes before. Do not take prescription pain meds, they dull the feelings in your glans.

Don't hesitate to send me an email or PM. I will be happy to answer any question your have.

I have not had a follow up with my uro yet. I am 3 weeks post surgery with a colorplast Titan implant. I am still on pain meds (endone 150 mg x 3 times daily). Difficulty sitting and deep scrotum and pelvis pain)

Swelling has mostly gone and penis is still sore to touch and still bent in flaccid state. Too sore to keep in upright position as suggested by yourself. Mostly relief is gained from heat pad in scrotal area for about 10 mins. The pain I experience is similar to erection gained from trimix injection prior to implant surgery!

I have been able to pump and deflate the implant for the last 3 days, but tend to leave it deflated to reduce the pain. In semi-erect state, the penis has a 70 deg bend in it and the implant bulges at the bend point. Very painful to keep it semi erect.

A while back I was chatting with a gentleman who's doctor advised to start inflating the implant at 3 weeks. Like you he had a lot of pain. I sent a email to Dr. Milam's PA about inflating the implant before 6 weeks. What did they recommend. His basic responce was that it would be very painful and the doctor that advised it must be ready for a lot of pain calls.

I have had both the scrotal and pubic approach. The scrotal, like you had, is much more painful. If you can ware a jock strap for the next couple of weeks. The support should help with the pain. Unless specifically ordered by your doctor I would completely deflate the implant. That will give you time for pain relief.  I was completely deflated for the first 6 weeks and had a lot less pain.

I got a lot of relief by sitting in my recliner with a small pillow at my back and my feet up. Do not try to cross your legs until the 6 weeks is up.

Sounds like your doctor did not do modeling for the curve. Once you are able to fully inflate the implant it should help reduce the curve.

Just take it easy for the next 3 weeks and stay off your feet until the pain is much better.

I am 6 weeks post implant operation pain almost non existent. Sitting on a hard seat mildy uncomfortable,
I know it's still early days, but I am pleased with the outcome of my implant. I have lost a bit of length, but girth is still there. This seems to have been my best option after RP Peyronie's disease. Under similar circumstances, I would do it again even though I found the procedure very painful.

Glad to hear the pain is much better. I believe the early inflation caused you to have more pain than usual.

You will have fun with your New Toy!!!

It will help other because we don't have too much information regarding doctors in Australia.
