Hi Name is Chaz and i think i hurt my self.. :-\

Ok so im on my motorcycle and i put a package of stuff from the auto parts store in my lap..
I didn't live far and i hit this bump and a can whacked me hard down there..
i didn't think much of it except DAM that hurt... next time i was gonna have sex it hurt but not that bad...
being a trooper i plowed on through...But noticed HAY its bent to one side?
So i thought OK that was the injury i got on the bike it all happened in a sequence and im 90 percent sure that was the cause..

So i felt around and found this hard lump and right after that area further up it would not "swell" there during erection..
So i look around on line (like we all do) and found this forum and other info..That Nepronol looked promising but from the comments on here its saying that's not that effective..But i got some anyway and am on that.. This all only happened a within a few weeks ago..
i did have some improvement but that could be it healing on its own..Still will it heal?

My worries are its gonna be permanent.. but im going to try some of the suggestions here...I am due to visit my doc soon and will ask him how to proceed but has anyone had a similar experience and what was the outcome? i am still able to have sex ok. And its not painful anymore just feels a bit sore and i have a great girlfriend that's cool and supportive..

Cheers gents and laddies I guess ill be making left turns from now on.... Sorry to joke around but if we aint laughing we would be crying....

Chaz ;D

I will propose you to read (if not read already):
MUST READ BEFORE YOU POST - Information for new members - Peyronies Society Forums
Prepare yourself before the apointment. Pentox is the first line medication, is helping with pain and also to stop progressing of the disease.

Welcome to the forum

James1947- I Does pentox have the same effect on the body as colchincine? I have not taken pentox yet, but I could not tolerate the colchincine. It made me nauseous. Thanks Inkhorn

I never used colchincine so I can't give an opinion regarding this med.
I had bad side effects from Pentox but I let my body get used to and it worked, especially after I change to the slow release version.
Begin with one at breakfast in the middle of your meal and see how it is affecting you. I suppose the side effects will diminish after one or two weeks. Then start taking the second at lunch, same during meal. Drink also a lot of water.
If the side effects will disappear, start with the third one during dinner, not later than 6 PM.
I just stopped taking the third one two weeks ago because I miss the "dad line" of 6 PM and can't sleep.
One more thing: If I have flue or some other infection I stop taking Pentox for a week or so.
For me Pentox is helping with many issues, not just Peyronies.

Inkhorn,

It seems that people are reacting differently to Pentox.  My uro prescribed me only twice a day.  I take one with food in the morning with other supplements.  I take another one around 7 at night.  I do not have side effects.  Two days ago I forgot to take it at 7 and remembered at 10:30pm.  I took one and did not interfere with sleep.  To get to the point, you reaction to Pentox may be different than James and mine.
Care enough to throw everything you got at this disease but do not care enough to ruin your Life!

Thanks guys.

Your support means a lot.... This is a scary prospect to think something like this could be so difficult to treat..
And potentially permanent. im encouraged by your stories...

Did you guys correlate an injury to your problem? or was it onset over time?
All clues could lead to treatment ideas..
I was reading about the "pressure stretching" method and that some got good results there as well as medications and vitamins / supplements. All in concert.

any thoughts?

I think ill ask my doc about the Pentox.. i missed my appointment but will see him soon..

Yes James i am reading everything i can
Inkhorn...its so true about laughter and a light attitude and being positive can go a long way (and thats not always my nature)
Thanks Litany.. i tend to react a lot to anything my body takes in...so ill be carful at first but i also can tolerate a lot of pain and never shy from being uncomfortable if i think it will help me... good advice.
Cheers guys and thanks again
