Blue Cross denied the implant so I went back to Dr. Milam yesterday. I told his nurse that I would self-pay if they could give me the Blue Cross rate. She obtained a quote for self-pay at their outpatient surgery center of $20K, inclusive of anesthesia, implant, Dr. Milam's fee, & surgery center fee. I'm not sure if this is a good rate or not. Any input regarding negotiating tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.... Chip

Send a private message to JackP asking for his input for working with Dr. Milam. Jack had his implant done by the good doctor.

This is the price I have got from them in the past.
You can check out also Dr. Drogo Montague at the Cleveland Clinic. They give me price of $12,000.
You have to negotiate with them.

I don't know Dr. Montague's success rate with peyronies. I do know the the $12,000 James posted is just for Cleveland Clinic and does not include any testing or Dr. Montague's fee. When you all all that together it gets closer to $20,000. I do know of others that are just under $20,000 but the follow up care leaves a lot to be desired. My care at Vanderbilt was outstanding.

As for me with my Medicare and supplement my out of pocket cost at Vanderbilt was $8.34 plus travel and hotel.
