Hello,

as you can read here:

ORAL TREATMENTS – Questions and Suggestions - Peyronies Society Forums

1,5 Years ago I had pain without deformation. After arround 9 month the pain stops a little bit and I had a deformation. I dont know how much but sex is still possible. I had worries about my life and I thought, I will never can make a second baby with my wife. Well, my wife is pregnat now, without any problems. We have not that much sex because we have a baby that is 2 years old but when we have, its always slow. The deformation / curve will hurt when the erections is strong but I can life with that, my wife too...

My questions is now, whats next? At the moment the progressions stops for me. I have pain but only during erection. Its not the pain from the beginning its the pain when the erections expand the plaque.

When it stand still now, I can arrange me with my situation but I am always scared when I have a erection because I think the erection expand the plaque and when it expand it will give a jag (I hope its the correct word) and then the deformation will be grow.

I am right?

I know the pyronie is very different but what is the normal progress now? It stand still now or will the deformation grow?

Thank your very much

If you have read the section on Oral treatments, then it is important that you start using some of them to help stabilise your condition. Pentox (trental) will help with any pain. You should also look at taking Arginine, ALC, CoQ10, etc.

As to your question, erections are good - stretching the plaque is good. This is what traction does, stretches the plaque, and sometimes helps to break it up.

I, thanks for your question. I know everthing about the oral treament. I have everything here. cialis, trental, l-arginen and so on. I used that for 6 month but I dont want to use this for the rest of my life.

Do you want me to take this medics for the next 40 years of my life?

When I do nothing, will the deformation grow?

Why is a erection good? When you strech a plaque, then it goes bigger or do i think wrong?

O.k. Let's take this one step at a time. Have you been to a Urologist?  If not, then see one as soon as possible. It does not sound as if your plaque is yet calcified, but it would help to confirm this.

You must understand that there IS no guaranteed cure for this disease. If you cease taking the oral medication, there is a chance your condition can get worse.

The idea of stretching the plaque is to try to cause it to break up. Also stretching is used to help straighten the curvature of the penis.

Hi,

yes, I saw a urogolist 4-5 times. I have 2 small plaques both calcified.

I know that there is no guaranteed and I have everything already at home. But I dont want take medics for the rest of my life. This can´t be good! When I take now cialis, pentox and l-arginin for 3 years, everyday and then i stop it...it will be come in 3 years more deformation..so imho when it should come..then it should come now...but nothing happends. everything stand still.

> The idea of stretching the plaque is to try to cause it to break up.

I know but IMHO a plaque is like a bloodcrust. When you break up the crust it will blood again and the crust will be bigger and then the curvature is growing...I am wrong?

thank you so much

I have calcified plaque too. One is just over 1cm, the other smaller.

Again, there is no cure for his disease. All we can do is try to overcome the obstacles the disease presents. These are, of course, mainly of a sexual nature. The two main problems are Erectile Dysfunction - this we try to treat with Supplements and drugs that increase blood flow to the Penis. These we have already discussed. The other problem is the curvature. Some sufferers have curvature that is so bad that they cannot have normal sexual relations. Traction, and or, VED is used to try and help correct the curvature. In other words, straighten the Penis.

The only other alternative is surgery. That is viewed here as a last resort because of the potential risks involved. You can read all about that in the dedicated section on this site.

Personally, I don't have any E.D. problems. My curvature I would estimate at 35-40 degrees. I have just started to use a traction device to try and straighten by, hopefully, at least 25%. I can have sex, just that some positions are more comfortable than others.

In the end, it is for you to decide which road you wish to travel down.

I must disagree. Plaque is NOT like a bloodcrust or blood clot.
