I have had five injections as suggested by my doctor. I have also been on traction since late last year. I am due for my next injections next week after a re-measurement. I have kept a photo diary and since September, when I has just a Little bit of a curve, from the photos and from what I see and feel, my progression has been slow but getting worse. Since starting to use traction, I have felt a dent around my bend get deeper, and I have seen my curve get also progressively worse. After five injection, things are not better and not the same.

I am taking Trental, CoQ10, L-Arginine, L-Acetyl-Carnitine, Propolis, Vit E and still it gets worse.....

I feel I might just stop Traction and VI and see how things move from here......

Any thoughts?

What brand of traction device do you use and how many injections are you supposed to do altogether?

But you don't know that your treatments slowed your progression. It is possible things could be much worse had you done nothing.

Yes. I heard this reasoning before. Do nothing and if things get worse, it's because you did nothing. Do something and if things get worse, what's to say it might not be worse if you did nothing. Do something, and if things get better, it because what you did. Do something and if things get worse is because of what you did. Where is the science in all this? Nothing is clear. I read an interesting short article of some "specialist" that made a good arguments about the lack of an EFFECTIVE treatment for Peyronies Disease. Unfortunately I would agree with him about this.

I have noticed deterioration since first diagnosed. If this is due to natural progression or not I am not sure. I know the doctor I have has been recommended and reassured by several other doctors that he is the best for VI. I know it is best for me to put my faith in someone, that knows more about this than I do.

In the absent of an effective treatment, we are left in a hard place.

I have used Traction since late last year, 4, 5, sometimes 6 hours per day. And have had 5 injections fortnightly since early this year. Levine suggest if after 6 VI, there is no improvement in girth or curvature, to stop VI. After my 5th, I don't see improvement, and I have not seen benefit of Traction. It has gotten worse.

My gut feeling is that these treatment are not helping.

HAVE I GIVEN THESE OPTION A REAL CHANCE?

WHY SHOULD I CONTINUE?

These are my BIG questions....

Just try one or the other maybe injections are making it worse and take it from there. What one treatment does for one person isn't the same for the other.

I would agree that if you have not seen any improvment from the VIs then doing more doesn't make sense. And you ahve been dilligent than most with the traction. But I would continue the traction if you are able to do so.
