Hi I'm 27 and have just had Nesbit procedure 2weeks ago. I was fine first week second week was very painful with me thinking I might have popped some stitches whilst sleeping and getting random nocturnal erections. I have been offered no aftercare, medicine or bandages. My problem is that I have two lumps which if I try to describe look like misaligned Jenga blocks. One pokes out on the right mid way down the other on the left near the base. My erections are straight but slightly lean to the left. My initial curve was downwards and was not peyronies but the other cause ...has anyone else experienced these two lumps? Also how long did people's stitches take to dissolve ? And does anyone feel pain in their glans that feels like pressure is building up in there. I'm fine all day only at night and with erections these pains and lumps show. Many thanks.

The types of stitches vary by the surgeon.  Do you have follow-up appointments?

When you say "the other cause" do you mean congenital curvature?

How skilled was you surgeon at doing these and how did you find him?

How bad was the bend? Did you try everything before you went for surgery? This doesn't seem like a well planned surgery with no aftercare and your running into problems? Like any surgery your going to experience pain but it should be manageable with pain medication. I have a lump mid shaft but if you have any lumps you might have peyronies disease did this doctor confirm that you didn't have peyronies disease? Also the lumps could be from the surgery who knows and these stitches will dissolve if there dissolvable ones or the doctor will have to take them out when your go see him for a follow up appointment. Personally if I have good erections like no ed and say a downwards curve depending on the curve but still can have sex wouldn't jusify me to have sugery.

I believe from reading his pos that he is conveying that the lumps he is discussing are suture knots.

Hi sorry for lat reply been really busy at work during day and suffering from no sleep during night. I had congenital curvature as I had no plaque this was neither confirmed nor denied but my curve was causing pain for my partner during sex. I still have had no follow up and no talk from anyone. I am in more pain now then before so am going to go back to the hospital to see if someone can see me. These might be suture knots. Also my stitches have only dissolved on one side so far this happened last year when I had a circumcision I then had to have the other stitches removed. If this was the case what's to say my internal stitches will dissolve at all. What happens then ? Also the pressure in my glans is so much when I get an erection that I honestly believe it could literally burst. Any advice is most welcome

Let me try again,
1. How skilled is your doctor?
2. How many of these surgeries does he do a year?
3. How did you find him?
4 Have you called for a follow-up appointment?

Noway asked how bad your bend was?

1. How skilled is your doctor?  supposed to be county specialist.
2. How many of these surgeries does he do a year?  Does a very high number of these a year as he has a waiting list which is back logged due to number of patients he is seeing.
3. How did you find him? Well I think he new what he was talking about however he changed what he had initially proposed at pre operation consultation with it just being a nip on the opposite side to bend and never discussed the amended changes with me or anything at all after. He also never saw me just before the operation either.
4 Have you called for a follow-up appointment? Yeah but can never get through to anyone. Actually getting hold of the two urologists at the hospital is very hard either someone says they will call back and never do or I just get a urology nurse who tells me everything is normal and wait for things to settle

Noway asked how bad your bend was?  Not sure what you mean .... The surgeon never asked to see my bend before operation just took my word for it.

@partyboy

He took your word for it? are you joking right now? So people just go into surgery blind he didn't get you an artificial erection. Three posts I think something is fishy here. Something does not make sense here.

the surgeon did have notes from my hospitals urologist who sent me the county urologist as he was more experienced, but he never looked at it. regardless of that, does anyone else get the feeling that there glans is building up to much pressure when they get an erection
