Where are the verapamil gel/cream success stories?

I did a good amount of searching these threads and could not find one person getting results from 15% verapamil gel - of course from pdlabs in Texas. I'm a few days in and I feel like I'm wasting 20 minutes a day applying it. Should we all just hope and wait for xiaflex to be our non-surgical solution. This damn verapamil is the first time I've heard a company talk up something, present awesome results on their website, only to hear the complete opposite on this forum. Bummer!

There are not any.

We do have this however to give ou some background.  Scroll to the bottom to read the first post then read up.

I've been using Topical Verapamil (not the one from Peyronies Disease Labs) since last November.

Today, I compared the pictures I took myself back in november and I can say that my bend went from 30° to 15°. ¿The Pain? It still comes and goes. And even though its just a small pain, I hate it 'cause it hurts when Im having sex.

Besides Topical Verapamil I've been using Vitamin E (400mg) and 50 sessions of Ultrasound. I think that the use of Verapamil and the Ultrasound help to reduce the bend 15° and to make the scars smaller and more... soft, I guess. Of course Im not 100 % sure it was because of those two things (Verapamil + Ultrasound), maybe it was just a natural progression.

Happy to hear about your improvement.
I have deleted your other post in the subject as we are not posting the same post on different topics.

I would give you straight answer if I understood your question. I don't know what VA is and I assume you meant BUY instead of BUT.

It is the opinion here of most of the forum members that Verapamil topical cream does little if any benefit for straightening a Peyronies curve. You might find some isolated cases where someone recorded a slight improvement, but for the most part we don't think it is worth the cost or time. You would be better off investing in a traction device or VED.

The most recent posting of improvement is by forum member betseyagopian. But even he was using this in combination with other treatments. And he did record a slight improvement. But we don't know if it was from the cream, or the ultrasound sessions, or the combination.

I would say that if you have the money, give it a shot. I mean, it wont hurt you in any serious way. It has no side effects. The only bad thing about it -at least in my case- is that if I use it twice a day, my skin gets irritated. That's why I use it once a day.

Remember I didnt buy the Verapamil from PDLabs because I live in Argentina. I bought it from a local drugstore (they do it themselves). You dont need a prescription.

Funny thing, I'm needing get more Verapamil since I'm running out of it and....the drugstore tells me thay cant get it done now because the drug they use to make it is not available lately in Argentina.

Edit: I just got the call from the drugstore saying they have the Verapamil!

Am I still the only one who had good results with verapamil gel?

Yes, I think you are the only lucky guy with Verapamil gel :). Sadly I have to say. :(

I don't understand how hardly no one could have success...any success with Veraprimil cream? They've done 3 large clinical studies and showed the opposite in every way. Did these dudes lie? I don't get it.

Free,
Sorry to be cynical, but big pharma many times will cherry pick their data because they have a lot of money into a drug and rather than truly using the scientific method, they make their results fit their hypothesis.  How else could all of the drugs, Vioxx, most SSRI's etc. even get on the market. These drugs to name a very few were known to have significant side effects or in the case of SSRI's actually intensify the problem they are supposed to treat. Unfortunately, when you have the curse of Peyronies Disease, you have to hope it works because the alternatives like surgery are very drastic and can have complications nobody who wants to have a sex life wants to deal with.

Sure I get it..I work for big bad pharma.  Statistical significance can be manipulated no doubt but we aren't talking statistical significance with these Veraprimil studies we are talking massive improvement in massive amounts of patients. One study...sure I get things could have been manipulated to seek benefit but several? I don't get it.  It's pretty easy to do a study with peyronnies as hardly no one seems to improve just sitting around.

nemo

Again, where are these "massive amounts" of test case improvements?  The study you posted on another thread had 57 test subjects. That's hardly massive. What are the other studies you're talking about?
