Hi guys
All healed up nicely but have since noticed very tight foreskin when having erections :( My post op examination is not until Jan 2nd so its looking like I might need a circumcision after all, damn! wish I`d discussed it beforehand as tight foreskin has never been a problem for me and I didn`t think it would be a problem after the op. My first specialist who has since retired said he would carry out a circumcision at the same time and I just assumed the second specialist would simply carry on with his instructions !!.
Moral to the story `ASK all the questions` beforehand guys  :o

After this post I went looking for possible treatments online and it looks like a gentle regular manual `stretching` of the skin might do the trick  :), Obviously not to be done while scars are healing up, think I`ll give it a try!.

Good news that manual therapy can do the trick. But even if you eventually need a circumcision let's face that compared to a Nesbit it has very few complications. I too have been circumcised due to tight foreskin when I was younger and (before peyronie struck) penile sensations were very satisfying.

Hi there. I too had surgery 7 weeks ago but also had semi ridgid implants inserted. Question? Have you started having sex again, and if so are you reaching orgasm and ejaculation??? I started having sex again 3 weeks ago once my stiches were gone, but yet to achieve both. I'm not to worried as my doctor told me that it could take from 3-6 months.

I have been to 2 andrologist/urologist and the first was a butcher as he gave me 2 partial circumcisions for tight foreskin aswell, and hardly cured my problems. My 2nd doctor fixed my whole ordeal with peyronies, ED, implants, complete circumcision, and she also cut my suspensory ligament to regain as much possible, due to the plaques. It took 5 hours of surgery, but it was worth it. The results are great.

Hi guys
Ben - seems to be doing the trick but early days, find myself having a tug and a stretch each time I go for a pee ;D
Claude- tried having sex the other night, turned out a bit clumsy and far from satisfactory if you know what I mean but maybe too soon yet  :P

Well after much examination what I thought was tight foreskin turns out to to be the ring of scar tissue where the penis was cut for degloving for the Nesbitt's so where there was once normal stretchable skin is now scar tissue that doesn't stretch so well. Imagine a snug fit piece of cord tied round the penis and then getting an erection that's pretty much what if feels like. So not sure if the scar tissue can be worked on??

After about 6 months the de-gloving scar for me was soft a nd flexible again. It was tight at first post surgery. I can't even tell a difference now.

this has been a good thread of posts. Thank you.

I joined this forum today to find info on how long I can expect my scar tissue to be there.  The scar tissue under the skin.  I had my Nesbitt procedure 6 May, I didn't need a graft.  But still have around 30% of the scar tissue at the moment (which feels and appears as lumps under the skin).  Still have a bit of numbness as well as some swelling in the affected areas post surgery.

It did feel a but funny having sex with my wife back in Oct.  With the swelling and scar tissue, it meant the head of my penis wasn't getting the friction it used to. Which meant it felt less sensitive as the swollen skin was kind of in the road..

If others have some views / experience on how long their scar tissue lasted, that would be appreciated.

Sensitivity as continued to improve for me w time since my surgery sept 2018.  I believe the silicone gel pads for scars can help lessen the scar tissue.
