Never had a normal penis

At 11 years old I had a botched circumcision.  It removed most of the shaft skin and left me with much scarring and very tight erections later in my life.  Skin tears and bleeding from very tight erections and more scarring.  I was reading on nocirc.org how a man who has had his foreskin removed, as he gets older will thrust harder and try to make up for lost sensitivity.  Men who are intact tend to be gentler and have the gliding action when penetrating that curcumcised men dont have. It made me think that it could be a contributing factor to why the higher rates of peyronies are men in their 50s.  And most of us are circumcised.  Rougher lovemaking means taking more chances and having an injury or trauma.  I am against routine infant circumcision so I may be biased.  I just know that I have never been able to enjoy a normal, natural penis.

Circumcised Peyronie's victim, reporting in.

I wondered about this too that somehow not having that extra "give" or buffer from foreskin may have caused my penis to bend and get injured the way it did. Like you said, foreskin provides a little extra room for sliding that might protect the penis in certain situations. I brought this up to my first urologist and he laughed it off (he was not a very good uro, but I did convince him to prescribe pentox). I am in my 30's though so I'm not in the age group you're referring too. But I was circumcised at birth and experienced overly tight skin during erections such that pubic skin (with hair) has stretched and crept up onto the shaft to compensate. Good Lord, why do we do this to our sons?

I suppose the debate on circumcision will never end.
I was lucky that after my circumcision (at birth) the doctor left enough skin not be to tight even at 61 when my Peyronies begin.
Now with the Peyronies shrinkage in size, I have really plenty of skin :(
But reading so many wrong circumcisions, I am wandering if we should not let our sons to decide themselves when they will grow up.

Not to turn this into a circumcision debate, but I agree!

There is always the exception, and here I am. I was not circumcised and am now in my 60's. I have always had plenty of slack. But now, with Peyronies Disease, I have the problem of tearing during intercourse. I never had this problem before. It is always on the long side of the curve. If I had to have sex two nights in a row, I think I'd get a headache!

PLease,  I see shades of a raging circumcision debate from about 3 years back.  It got pretty over the top.  :o

I can only imagine how a circumcision debate would go here since I have some strong views on it myself. Suffice to say I'm not cut and I'm happy my parents didn't do it to me.

My point was not to debate circumcision, but rather to point out that neither cut nor un-cut has any advantage when it comes to Peyronie's.
