Im 30 years old to start i guess.
Few weeks ago noticed a slight indent right below the head of the penis.never there before. only with full erection.
as time has passed the indent is still there. and slight curve to to the left when in full erection has started to take place as well.
obviously went to google. and came across this forum.
havent been to see a GP or urologist yet.
emailed a uroligist today . Dr. ehtan gruber mt. sinai., (waiting to hear back)
does this sound like the beginning of Peyronies Disease?

Yep! It sure does. But I am not a doctor. First, you need to get it looked at by a pro to be sure. In the meantime, spend as much time as you can reading at this forum. Combined, there is probably as much experience here as you will find. The consensus is, don't wait, take action. That begins with the doctor and lots of reading. Good luck.

newtothis,

I got this at age 29, now I'm 33. I had symptoms similar to yours except I had a significant amount of pain. I suggest asking your urologist for a prescription to a drug called pentoxifylline, there are studies on this drug posed here: Pentox - Dr. Lue Case Study / Levine mentions his use of Pentox - Peyronies Society Forums. This drug, often referred to here as pentox, has anti-fibrotic and anti-inflammatory properties which can help healing and reduce pain. It is not a cure, but it can be effective.

There are other treatments available such as low-dose cialis or viagra, which also help prevent further scar tissue, in addition to boosting erections. Some men here also use a vacuum erection device with tubes that help to straighten erections. I have not used this but many here have and find it useful.

I used pentox for 8 months and it got rid of my pain very quickly and over time helped reduce some deformity. I'm not 100% cured but I am pretty close to what I was before and my erections are completely normal. Good luck and feel free to ask questions here or PM if you would like.

Best,

Skjaldborg
