DID MY URO WORSEN MY PEYRONIES WITH HIS ROUGH HANDLING OF MY PENIS?

Hi - I wondered if anyone else had a similar situation.

When I realised I had peyronies, I actually diagnosed myself. I went to see doctors about painful erections and they didn't have any idea what was wrong with me!

Yet I did a simple google search on painful erections and discovered the awful truth of Peyronies Disease. How can I know more than a doctor????

Anyway, I then got sent to see a specialist Dr Ralph, and when he did a physical examination of my penis. It was rough. He tugged an pulled and squeezed my penis for about 40 seconds while I was squirming, and then told me I had Peyronies Disease. I asked him how he knew, and he said because I was squirming! I replied by saying that any man who he did that to with or without peyonies would squirm as he was literally pulling and tugging so hard.

Before I saw him, my curvature was about 20 degrees, literally days after the examination, I was at 60 degree curvature and now more!

I am so angry that I let him do that to me, though I obviously didn't know better and trusted him, but i'm convinced he made it worse. Surely if Peyronies Disease is aplaque / internal injury, then poking at it will just make it worse, just like poking at an open wound.

The cynic in me is thinking he did this on purpose to worsen my Peyronies Disease, so that I would eventually be more of a case for needing surgery, and of course he is the leading surgeon for peyronies, and that is where he makes his money.

I would really like to know what you guys think, and if I'm completely wrong and being unfair.

There have been some positive comments on this forum in regards to Dr. Ralph. So it would seem very unlikely that he would do this on purpose. Seems he has enough patients already, and in fact would develop a bad reputation pretty quickly if this was happening.

Also, it is very difficult to say if the pulling and tugging did anything to worsen your situation. Typically it takes some trauma greater than pulling and tugging to do this. But everyone's case, pain, and symptoms is different. So even though it seems unlikely, it does seem to be coincidental with your doctor visit.

If your Peyronies is recent, then you are in what is called the acute phase. And this is the time frame that the progression is active. So it is also difficult to say if the pulling and tugging did contribute to this, or if it would have happened anyway.

Luke, I would look for other UK forum members under the Urologists and other docs topic and PM them about this experience.  They have a lot more knowledge of docs in the UK than the rest of us do.  They might have some useful advice as well.  Secondly, I would pile on the CoQ10 and Pentox if you have access to it.  Now is the time to attack the inflammation before it can do further damage.  - George

One of the last allopathic shills I went to see did the same to me and I had pain for three days. Be on guard when dealing with most of the "doctors", they are cold blooded, greedy, ignorant and usually cruel men. I have been to around 20 doctors of all branchs and this is the sad reality. Not ALL of them were like this but around 70% or the ones I treated with.

If you guys think im crazy or something read this... The last one I had to deal with pinched my hard flaccid, pained penis with a needle to put Caverject inside of it and see it erected. This torture got me seriously paranoid afterwards but luckily there wasnt any worsening of my situation - the needle was tiny. What a moron would recipe Caverject for someone that tells you he has penis pain most of the days??

I had a similar issue two years ago. I went to a famous andrologist in nothern germany and wanted to begin an extracorporal shock wave treatment of my 10 years old peyronies which had resulted in an one-sided hour glass right at the glans. He said he'd need to inject PGE-1 (20micro gramm) before the ultra sonic. I had a 4-hours lasting very hard erection and the feeling of a rupture. From that moment I had additional heavy pain and a new scar evolved at this position which is the other lateral side of the penis. So at the distal end (i.e. at the glans) my penis became more tiny and insensitive which is a big crap if you want to penetrate a vagina and reach the climax (for both). My general conclusion is, that these kind of invasive diagnostics actually can do harm and some doctors may be insensitive and driven by money. This is just my experience, of course I can't say anything about your case.
