Hi all
Just beginning week 3 after my Nesbitt`s procedure and have to say no problems at all and absolutely no regrets having it done  :D.
Slight excess of foreskin and tried pulling it back yesterday to see the stitches and all looks well, a bit early for the stitches to dissolve yet. No more waking up through the night with a throb down below (if ya know what I mean  ;)) Hope this helps anyone contemplating the operation. Will update as and when!.
Cheers

Congratulations to you!

Thursday November 22, will be 4 weeks since my own Nesbitt plication surgery.  The incision site is healing up nicely and the discomfort from a strong erection is barely noticeable.  I still have an indentation on the left side, and my venous leakage still seems to be there.  I have not yet tried 100 mg Viagra that I usually need for sex.

Just two more weeks before my last scheduled follow up appointment.  I expect he will tell us that we can give it a try.  That will be just in time for a long planned vacation trip.

Thanks for that James  ;). I did wonder sometime ago what do you tell family, friends and colleagues? I`m still working and the doc has signed me off for 4 weeks. I had never heard of Peyronies before contracting it and a bent penis is not something that a bunch of hairy arsed engineers could sympathetically discuss together and yes I was somewhat embarrassed but before I knew it the words `I`m having a hernia operation` came out of my mouth so I`m sort of stuck with that at the moment and it seems to satisfy most questions about my absence  :-\

nebula2,
I too was a bit embarrassed at first. But I change when I realized that some of those hairy arsed guys have it too. It is estimated that 10% of men or higher have some degree of Peyronies Disease. So I've changed my mindset to educate as many people as I can. I have told my sons, my nephews, men that I work with, and men at church. You can't control how some of them will react, but most are entirely sympathetic and glad that it is you and not them.

You might be surprised that they want to know more about this strange disease as they know much less than we do.

My History

Thanks for those reassuring words Les. Read your history and my history with Peyronies seems pretty lame in comparison. Early 2011 noticed a bend, July 2011 went to Docs who diagnosed Peyronies and put me on the list to see specialist, Oct 2011 saw specialist who told me the options and put me forward for Nesbitts, That began a long wait as he retired and I think they forgot about me,!! and various contacts with the hospital ended with my op two weeks ago and that's pretty much it, no medication was ever recommended unlike a lot of the guys on the forum!
I notice you say "3 yrs free from Peyronies" is this a condition that can return?
