Hi. I'm new here. I'm 33 years old. I was hoping for some advice.

I don't know if I have Peyronie's but I think I could. Here's my story...

Two years ago, I was walking a lot, and as I walked I'd sweat and my legs would get irritated, so I put baby powder in between my legs. That night I masturbated for a long time without lubrication. The next day, I was very sore and the right side of my penis looked swelled, when flaccid. Since then, I get stretches of pain when flaccid, which can last weeks on end, and the skin on the shaft of my penis seems stretched out some, so it doesn't seem to sit right when flaccid, depending on the position.

I'm been in pain for about 3 weeks straight. I went to the doctor a week ago, and he squeezed the shaft of my penis once, and said it looked normal, and said to lay off long sessions of masturbation, which are dry, for I've been doing that. But still, a week later and my flaccid penis hurts. It's like a burning sensation, and sometimes a stabbing, or pinching feeling. I always feel like I have to adjust myself...

I don't have much pain, if any when erect, and I'm not sure if the shape is any different than before; although, I think the right side of the shaft, near the head, may stick out more than before by a little. Sometimes my penis curves to the left, when flaccid, but I'm not sure if that's anything new. I notice a possible natural curve to the left, but most of the aching pain is on the right. Sometimes the shaft of my penis looks off, like slightly deformed, but if I adjust the loose looking skin, by pulling it back, it reshapes to normal looking, until I bend over or something.

The doctor said everything would go back to normal, if I laid off rough and dry masturbation, but the pain is still aching... Sometimes it sends pains down my legs. If there is any difference in the erection it's not much. If there's any deformation it's slight, but I fear it may turn into something worse...

Again, the pain has been off and on for two years. I've masturbated longer and more frequently over the past two years. Could this be Peyronie's or possibly from frequent long and dry masturbation, and could it go back to normal?

Sounds similar to my case. You need to look for signs like new veins, like varicose, or bulged dorsal veins, band like bumps or any difference in your penis in appearence. The penis has the ability to repair itself but I believe its takes a lonnnnng time and you should be doing something for your condition. From what I even have been reading, Ubiquinol its the most effective for pain and in some cases it helps with Peyronies itself which its great. Pentox has an even better profile of success and I would take it even while you dont know what you have. It enhaces circulation and you need that, like me. It also blocks the progress of Peyronies so if you are developing it its the perfect time to start on it. From everything I have been reading man... actually all these "injuries" we made via exercises or masturbation, if they dont ressolve in years, will worsen to Peyronies. There is a genetic or personal predispotition to DONT healing normally in the penis, and thats what a lot of docs things its the etiology of Peyronies. You had an injury 2 years ago, like I did, it should have stopped hurting already... Having flare ups its a bad sign too. Flare ups are an autoimmune sign. So thats why I advice you to go to a real good penis doctor and convince him of making you an ultrasound and what not to see whats physilogically wrong and prescribe Pentox. Also buy Ubiquinol, better prices online. Finally make sure you have nightime and morning erections and at least one without manual stimulation during the day, it helps and personally gives me hope as my erected penis still looks quite functional. Good luck. Two years its a lot of time dont wait more.

Also there is the VED which its a device that forces you to have an erection and people have great results with it BUT since we have no bend and our cases are different I dont know if that could be benefit us. You will need to find out.

John B

Thanks.

When it comes to erections, I get those everynight, which I think increase the soreness in the daytime.

I don't have insurance right now. If I did I'd go see a urologist as soon as I could. Any advice on seeing a specialist on this without insurance?

Also, I've noticed this seemingly getting worse since I got on beta-blockers a few years ago. I'm on atenolol 50mg. Could this be related?

LWillisjr

It seems to me your dry masturbation techniques is what is causing your irritation. I doubt this has anything to do with Peyronies disease.

I don't know... I've been in pain for 3 weeks straight, after a long dry masturbation. Is it possible to hurt for a month and have loose looking and it go back to normal by backing off rough masturbation?

I'm still concerned it may be something like Peyronie's, although, my family doctor said it would heal up.

John B

For some reason today, my penis is hurting pretty bad... on both sides. Sometimes it aches badly on the right, then the left. Like the loose skin is pinching. The pain makes me feel nauseous sometimes. I don't have insurance right now, so I can't just go back to the doctor.

Will the ER do anything if I go in and tell them I've been in pain for a few weeks and it keeps increasing?  :'(

Sargonnas

Dont think they will help you in the ER. I tried going there some weeks ago... examined my penis visual and manually, yada yada nothing. But you could try though.

I have taken my first dose of Pentox today and the pain its better. More importantly, my attitude its better because I feel less hopeless and hysterical. With prescription the price its derisory, but bought over the internet its like 30 dollars for 90 capsules. I would advise you to get this or at least look for some real good penis specialist. Notice my penis its cold and I have varicose, spider and bulged veins on it so for me the idea of Pentox, a medication that improves circulation being helpful was a no brainer...

John B

I've been doing more research and it seems like it could be a rough case of Lymphangiosclerosis, as this new stretch of pain, which as lasted 3 weeks and counting, was after a long dry masturbation.

Vasculitis isn't related to long dry masturbation, right?

I can buy Pentox from that site and it's the real deal?

Norm

James,
I would have the same question. Have you bought from these people? Are they legit? If so, those are good prices.

So are the Cialis prices, but again, are they legit?

I get the information about riverfarmacy on the forum from people that bought from them before me.
I have bought 600 pills of 400mg Trental. The supply was fast and with no problems, the product is genuine.
I have asked them to reduce the amount in the official invoice to be bellow $100 and they refused. It is an other good sign if they are not ready for monkey business. :)
The shipment was via US Parcel post, it is the cheapest and here locally I pay $15 to release them. :) If I will get via UPS, FedEx or DHL the release will be $50 and up  >:(
I was not proposing them if I had not a good experience with them :)

I'm on week 5 of pain. Pain is when flaccid. I noticed a vein in the left side of my penis seems hard and hurts. Could veins in the penis be sore for 5 weeks after long dry masturbation? For the most part the ache and stabbing pain, when flaccid, is on the left side where that vein is, but sometimes the light side hurts too...

Any ideas what this may be?

Would appreciate any insight.

John B

I'm still in pain when flaccid after 7 weeks...

I've noticed the skin of my shaft seems very stretched and darker, and it wasn't that way before, and now when flaccid the skin folds up strangely and seems to be the cause of pain and discomfort. Is there a name for this condition and have any advice?

The way the skin is folding is driving my crazy... it's so uncomfortable.

Hawk

Peyronies Disease has nothing to do with skin.  If your flaccid size is smaller you might notice more lose skin but it is very unlikely the skin is the source of your pain.

I've been hurting for 2 months now... Mostly it hurts in the left side where there's a vein. I don't feel a lump, but the vein seems bulged. When flaccid it curves to the left some, which seems to be from the bulged vein pulling it to the left. I think this was from long periods of dry masturbation. The skin is stretched too, and when I sit it covers the corona; this covering of the corona never happened before and is uncomfortable...

Any ideas how this could be treated and could it lead to Peyronie's?

MattFoley

John B, have you seen a urologist about it and have they done an ultrasound? The jackass doctors I have been seeing have yet to do an ultrasound or an x-ray. All they did was feel my penis up.
Got Testosterone?

John B

Only my primary doctor. My primary doctor only felt my penis and said lay off long dry masturbation... but that didn't explain why I'm still in pain after two months, and why the skin of the shaft covers half of the corona.

MattFoley

I'm not a doctor, obviously but I would insist on seeing a urologist and if need be, get on Pentox. Get your testosterone levels checked as well. Please don't F~

I will second MattFoley. You have to see a good urologist or male function specialist as soon as you can and get on a treatment.
I have waited three years without treatment, it was my biggest mistake of my life!!!

How does one go about getting treatment if they don't have insurance at the time?

funnyfarm

You do not need insurance to see a doctor.   Some, like myself, order the drugs on the internet, and only see the doctor when we have very specific questions we could not research and answer ourselves.   Office visits are not cheap so make sure you are prepared before you go in.

On the bright side, the USA does have some of the best specialists, and without being restricted to insurance network of providers you can pick the best of the best.  These guys see people from all over the world so they will not be surprised when you pay with a credit card and do not have old medical records (most foreigners don't either).

Also, another plus, by paying out of pocket, if you apply for policy later on, the insurance providers (they all share our records) will not know about your peyronies and deny you coverage due to a pre-existing condition.  (The medical system in the US is really messed up, but the better you understand it, the better success you will have seeking care.)  It is just my opinion, but wasting time with doctors that are not up to speed with peyronies (even if the visits were free) is a big waste of time, and can actually make matters worse physically and psychologically so choose carefully.

Obviously if you are broke though, that is another issue altogether that will have to be addressed first.

Yeah... I'm dirt broke right now.

John B

I'm in America. But I may not have Peyronie's. I'm not sure what the problem is yet...

Two years ago, I masturbated dry for a long time. After that there was pain and the skin of the shaft covered the corona gland, of the head, a little on the right side. After time the stretched skin and pain remained, and the skin darkened some. It seems that the pain went away for some time. But in July I hurt again after a long dry masturbation, which lasted a few weeks. Then 2 months ago, I masturbated again, same long dry session, and I've been in pain ever since.

The pain is mostly on the left side, where a vein looks bulged. It seems the vein pulls my penis to the left some when flaccid, but I don't feel any lumps, only the vein. My penis aches on the left side, where that vein is, and the stretched skin of the penis sits strangely on the shaft, which is uncomfortable and makes me adjust constantly. Having to adjust the loose penis skin, so it doesn't cover the corona or the head is exhausting mentally...

Again, I don't know if it's Peyronie's... but I'm dirt broke right now and can't afford to even pay an office visit. The only reason I'm online is I'm using a friend's internet.

MattFoley

John, I said "county" not "country". I know you live in the U.S. I'm in CA and they have free health care for us broke bastards. Where in the U.S. do you live?

John B,
It sounds that you have soreness or inflammation in the skin that covers your penis. This is not related to Peyronies Disease.

John B

Are you sure? It seems to be curving more to the left when flaccid, but there's no curve when erect... Maybe the curvature is from the sore spot being inflamed?

John B

Another question, if you all don't mind... Like I said, I have this burning ache in the left side, I don't know if it's a vessel or scar tissue, or what...  But... lately, my penis has burned when I orgasm. I know it's not an STD. Can the start of Peyronie's cause the penis to burn during and after orgasm, or does this seem more of an inflamation issue?

LWillisjr

I'm just saying that if the inflammation is in the skin covering your penis that this is not Peyronies disease.  And I don't recall anyone stating that burning during orgasm is related to Peyronies. That isn't to say that you don't have other related symptoms.

John B

Yeah... I think it very well could be Peyronie's, as the shaft seems slightly off, like it bulges on the right now, and slightly turns in on the left side, where the pain is... But I don't have a job right now, or insurance, and the state refuses to help me on that, so I'm left to suffer this out with seeing a urologist or treatments.  :(

John B

I think I'll be able to see a urologist on Wednesday coming up, which is good... I was checking myself really good today and noticed a lump I hadn't seen before, I touched it and found it to be the source of pain. It looks like a white vessel running horizontal in the middle of the shaft. I'm thinking it could be Lymphangiosclerosis (hardened lymph vessel), or Peyronie's. I can't imagine a lymph vessel hurting that bad for nearly 3 months though... It hurts worse today than ever, and the swelling was worse than ever, which is why I found the lump.

MattFoley

Yeah, John, what you are describing doesn't sound exactly like Peyronie's. It may be that and something else as well. I have not read about anything like this so yeah, please let us know what the doctor says. I'm praying for you.
Got Testosterone?

John B

I went to the Urologist today. First he checked and felt my penis and said it looks and feels 100% normal. He said not even 95% normal but 100% normal. At first he said it's not Peyronie's, then after I brought to his attention I've been hurting on the left side of my penis for 3 to 6 months, he said it could be the "start of Peyronie's." He told me to take 400 IU of vitamin E twice a day, and to come back for a visit in 3 months.

At first he said it wasn't Peyronie's, but because of months and months of pain he said the only thing he can think of is that it's the start of Peyronie's... Sigh... I don't feel like I got anywhere with that, and I don't have insurance, so this is frustrating...

MattFoley

John, if the doctor thinks it's the start of Peyronie's then you should get on Pentox right away as well as the other things we've discussed, including Citrulline Malate (not Arginine) and Cialis. The doctor is clearly incompetent if he sent you away with the suggestion of Vitamin E and told you to wait. I have some more choice words for this "doctor" but the forum rules prohibit me from expressing them here.

I know money is tight but you have to do something sooner than later.

Got Testosterone?

John B

Is it possible that it's not Peyronie's? At first the urologist said it's *not* Peyronie's, but he said 3 to 6 months of pain is not normal and the only idea that could make sense of it, for him, was the start of Peyronie's.

I don't really want to pump myself full of stuff if it's not even Peyronie's...

LWillisjr

John B,
If you look up urology you will find it is the study of the urinary system. Kidneys, bladder, urinary tract, etc. Many men go to a urologist thinking they are penis specialists or even more so, sex function specialist. This just isn't the case. So you need to find a urologist who has expanded his/her speciality specifically in the area of Peyronies and/or male sexual function.
