I'm 56. Just noticed a line of firmness on the top of my penis. Then I feel my penis bending to the left. It never ever did this.
No problem up to this point with erection but I googled change in penis and came across this condition and site.
I am currently on vacation and my partner has just left. I did mention that I felt some changes but she looked shocked so I didn't peruse it.
I am guessing at the moment but I do seem to have this condition. I have been aware of the hardening as if a vein was firming for a couple of months.
I will immediately make an appointment on my return.
Funny how there's always something!!

What you are writing may be Peyronies and may be not.
Your decision to see a doctor as soon as you can is the best thing you can do.
The second one is to try to learn as much as you can on the forum before your appointment. Many of the doctors do not have too much knowledge on Peyronies and they are not aware regarding new treatments.
Wish you to find a good doctor.

There is no substitute for seeing a doctor.

Googling for medical problems is by far the worst thing you could do.  Google is great for some things like tech news or general news but it is a horrible resource for medical advice.

There are a ton of things it could be other than Peyronies.  If you don't go to a doctor you run the risk of doing something that you shouldn't in the mistaken belief that it's just peyronies.

I agree and disagree with guyincog.  Attempting to self diagnose over the internet is a big mistake.  Even medical doctors with a specialty emphasis on Peyronies Disease could not diagnose you without a physical exam.

On the other hand, using the internet to learn about a physical condition, possible options and to formulate questions before going to the doctor is a wise and excellent use of the internet as a resource.  Since you already stated your intention to  "immediately make an appointment on my return" I trust you are here for education and support and not self-diagnosis.
