Congenital Curve - Graft and Plication Surgery

I'm currently in my early 20's and was born with a downward congenital curvature (chordee) of almost 90 degrees and a micropenis. The curve was not prominent at any single spot as with Peyronies but was rather distributed on the whole penis, much like a banana. I had never tried intercourse as I was very conscious about the curve and the size, neither had I visited a urologist as I was very embarrassed to talk about my condition.

Now that the situation was just really taking over my mind and I just couldn't accomplish any task due to the depression, I researched for the best urologist in my area and booked an appointment with him. He was very clear that he can't do anything about the size and I'll just have to live with it, but to correct the curvature the only option was surgery. He said he can't tell just by looking what's causing the chordee, as there can be multiple reasons causing the curvature and what has to be done can only be decided on the table while performing the surgery. He told me beforehand that chordee can take multiple surgeries to be fully fixed, and as with any penis surgery, there can be complications. So I had no other option but to opt for the surgery.

The surgery was completed and he said that the situation was much more complex than he thought. The curvature was due to congenitally short urethra and he had to dissect the urethra and perform grafting to the corpora in order to fix the curvature. He told me that now I'll have to pee while sitting down as now the urethral opening is at the base of the penis instead of the tip and would need another surgery after 6 months to create a new urethra (urethroplasty). I was told to not engage in any sexual activity for up to 6 weeks.

It took 2-3 weeks for me to develop a full erection, I could see that the shaft was much much straighter now, but the head of the penis still had a very severe bend. I went back to the uro, he said that this much residual curve is normal as I had a very severe curvature before the surgery. I was still not satisfied, it was still a lot of curvature to consider it normal. He said that he could fix the residual curvature using nesbit but it may further shorten my penis by a few cms. Two and a half months after the first surgery, I went ahead with the second surgery to fix the residual curve. After the 2nd surgery he explained to me that he had performed a nesbit procedure along with grafting again otherwise the shortening would have been a lot.

I'm finally straight now, but much shorter than before. I lost almost 1 inch after both the surgeries, pre-surgery my dorsal side was 4 inches and the ventral side was like 2.5 inches, where as now I'm straighter but with left with an 3 inch erection.

Even now after all this I'm still very depressed, firstly because of my size and secondly because I still have another surgery to go through i.e. to create the new urethra (which could also have multiple complications such as fistula formation, urethral stricture etc)

Now, I had some questions if anyone could answer:

1. Can VED help me regain the lost length considering it was a congenital curvature? Also, pre-op my dorsal side was 4" whereas the ventral side was 2.5", so if I try to recover my lost length using VED, wouldn't it just restore the dorsal side as the ventral side never really lost any length? Wouldn't this make the curve come back?

2. Is it still possible for me to pleasure a girl with a 3" erection?

User,
That's quite a story and appreciate you sharing this. Sorry you have been some very invasive surgeries.

I think you might want to read through the traction board. In your case traction may be required in order to stretch and remodel your erection for some added length. But there are accounts of some size improvement with VED use. So let's see how some others might reply.

You will be a little limited on sexual positions with your current size. But yes, there are positions that will still please you and your partner.

I will second lwillisjr.
Many people are using traction devices and/or VED to gain length.
To get more knowledge you may want to read the boards related to those subjects
