Hello, I joined today.

I'm frustrated, I am in pain, and I have recently found this forum in an attempt to better educate myself about treating my Peyronies Disease pain. In my particular case, the Peyronies Disease plaque has been quite painful, during erections, for almost two years.  My urologist suspects I am at a medical end-result stage.  However, I'd like to think I might find at least some modest improvement to the pain related to my build-up of plaque. I am interested in learning whether there are any proven (or potentially helpful) methods to lessen the impact of the build-up of plaque caused by Peyronies Disease; and I am only interested in non-surgical interventions.

Specifically, does anyone here know of articles -- or other authoritative sources -- that discuss whether manually manipulating a line of plaque either (1) improves or helps break up the plaque, OR (2) does nothing, i.e., is a waste of time & effort; OR (3) makes the situation worse? 

My situation:
I began developing Peyronies Disease 2 years ago. 
Over the past year, I have maintained a line of plaque, approx. 3", in my tunica albuginea.  The plaque feels like a hard line, or an unbendable wire.  This "hard wire" feeling runs just below the skin and down the middle of the top of my penis.  This line of plaque creates a "hard wire" feeling that starts approximately at the midpoint of my penis, and the line of plaque stops approximately 1" from the glans penis.  Visually, it appears as ridge or thin ridge or lump on top of the latter half of my penis.  During an erection, this area becomes painful.  Certain angles/positions are extremely painful during intercourse.

I would like to know if anyone has had any success manipulating a line, or build-up, of plaque. If so, how long (weeks? months?) did it take to notice a difference?  Also, have any members tried to manipulate an area of plaque and made the site worse? 

Any thoughts, or references to sources with credible information about non-surgical alleviation of plaque pain or plaque build-up, will be greatly appreciated. 

Finally, if there is already a thread on the subject of manually manipulating plaque, please direct me to it and I'll carry on this discussion there.

Under "Alternative Treatments of Peyronie's Disease" topic "Penis massage-stretching" have mixed opinion on the subject.
You may try VED or Traction devices to treat the plaque. Read the related boards to learn the subject.

Regarding the pain (and also softening the plaque) you should get as soon as possible on Pentox 2*400mg daily or 3 daily if you will not have side effects. Low dose Cialis may help also softening the plaque.

I am taking also 2*1000mg L-Arginine and 2*100mg Ubiquinol, it helps the blood circulation.

I am curious about your suggestion that "Low dose Cialis may help also softening the plaque" Can you explain to me the relationship between plaque & cialis?  Or is there an link/topic/website that you believe has a decent explanation of how this could help.  Any advice appreciated.

I read ones an article on the subject but I didn't keep the link so can't give you a "scientific" explanation on the Cialis subject.
If I am not wrong, one of the leading Peyronies expert advising it also. 
Many on the forum has switched from low dose Viagra to low dose Cialis (including me) because of the results people has reported so the PAV cocktail (Pentox, Arginine, Viagra) has changed to PAC cocktail (Pentox, Arginine, Cialis).
