What is your opinion? Do you think it can be better than VED or it's just an economic advertisement?

james1947

In my opinion, a simple advertisement!
Nothing new!

The jury is still out about which device is the better - traction vs. VED. My personal opinion from all the years of experience I have had with VEDs (mine and that of others) is that the VED is the better overall therapy. Traction may have its place for some cases so one must consider that alternative to the VED also.

The Fastsize Extender was taken off the market by the FDA sometime ago reasons unknown. But, some sources are still available for it. Most consider it as the better traction device, I have no opinion either way of this one though.

All extenders (regardless of brand) work on the same principal with the differences being in how they are advertised and sold. There are variations in the designs of the attachment - strap vs noose vs vacuum.

If a company says a device is for the treatment of a particular medical condition (such as Peyronie) and for sale in the United States then it is subject to the FDA. FDA approval is expensive so most companies do not undertake that effort. That was the problem with FastSize.

I have seen extenders priced at $400 that are very similar to others priced at $70. The challenge with extender usage is not quality of design (or marketing) but rather if a man has the desire and circumstances to use it properly. So, my suggestion is buy cheap and see how it works out.

BTW I think there is a place for BOTH extenders and VED in the treatment of Peyronie. The therapeutic principals are different. The extender can (and should) be used 3+ hours per day while a daily VED session only lasts about 20 minutes.

there is one exception here.  A traction device MUST BE SPRING LOADED in the telescoping support on each side.  That way when you bend, twist, turn, the springs will give and while it will apply more tension to your penis it will not be like a straight solid shaft that has no give.

This device come with two nooses, It may avoid soreness by reducing the force applied under the glans. At the base of the metal bar there seems to be parts which can be unscrewed. Appears like a spring loaded one (like 4xlabs, fastsize, andropenis, Jes etc...).

200 € +/- 200 $ is really the maximum one should pay for a quality extender. Bathmate is a excellent vacuum but you need a bathtube to use it. I used to have an air vacuum and stop it in favor of a water pump. Anyway I would like to try Obson brand.

I can't see that double noose thing working well, has nowhere to grab onto.

Plus it doesn't seem to be spring loaded, big no no.
This is an emotionally destructive condition, we all have it, let's be nice to each other.

I just bought the Anrdropenus extender that came from Spain, and have started to use it. The way I can manage because of other responsibilities is to use it an hour here and there and a few hours at night after my girls are in bed and the kitchen is clean, and the rubbish is out, and the dog fed etc etc.... So far I have used it for a few hours, and I have started soft to get used to it. I have managed to walk a bit with it but find it better sitting or on the bed.

I do have a few questions but and hope someone can help...

1) When I put it on, at first if I don't stay still, it will easily come off. If I wait a few minutes, I get blood flow into the head of my penus and this tends to set in in place, so I then have a bit mobility. Is this suppose to happend. The head swells up a bit, get a bit more reddish but not blue...

2) The springs I just don't understand. And the force that they exert I don't have a clue.

3) The device can be placed straight if tilted with two tightening screws things at the base of each rod just at the point where they connect to the plastic ring at the end. I have used it at times pointing down, and in this position it feels like the device is exerting more pressure. How is this to be worn?

4) I have managed because of time constraint to wear it 90 minutes straight, at one point needing to remove it to readjust as my glands was a bit uncomfortable? I don't think I have felt pain so I guess I must not be doing anything too wrong.

5) I have read that you have to stretch beyond your erection length. This makes sense to me, though at this stage I am bellow this measure, but still get a sense that there is stretching occurring. Am I right in thinking that at the beginning it is better to start slow. The manual said to measure the penus at erection and subtract 4cm, which I did. Is this the way other people have started?

6) My belief is that I probably had a curve before Peyronie's set in, so I don't know how much of my curve is Peyronie's and how much is natural. Will this matter in regards to how the traction works?

I will see how I go. Next week I will go on leave for 6 weeks and will probably have more time to stretch things... I will see how I go....

Regards all...

In my opinion this should not slip off. When I first starte to use mine this happened only a couple of times. I found that I need to tighten the comfort strap a little tighter. I also find that if I took a small piece of cloth and wrap it around my penis just under the glans, so that the strap tighten on this, that this helped considerably.

They may have provided you extra springs. Don't let these confuse you. There must be springs already installed in the tension rods. You should be able to compress these and fell the springs pushing back.

I know exactly what you are referring to. I never tightened these to the point of being tight. I would let the device point to what ever was comfortable. If I was standing it would hang down for example.

This sounds normal. You should not wear the device more than 2 hours at a time without taking a break to let blood flow replenish.

I don't know where you read this and it is not correct. You should start out wearing the device to place a comfortable tension on your penis. Don't concern yourself with how it measures up.

No this will not matter.
