Hi

Im newly diagnosed, across the pond in N ireland, where the lack of information and "wait and see approach" is overwhelmingly unhelpful.
Thankgod for this site, any tips would be appreciated, im a levitra and vit e recipient from the urologist here.
Investigating acetyl l carnitine and coq10 for effectiveness, id appreciate any thoughts on ved versus andro penis traction devices if recommended. Pentox isnt available here, but does that just do the same job as viagra levitra etc?

Hoping to get some answers here, its been a shock and a nightmare since i got this diagnosis after intense pain and left turn curviture overnight...

anyway, looking forward to getting involved here, european perspective versus usa...it seems all the professionals here say wait and see and 12-18 months talk surgery?

any thoughts would be welcome.

Has anyone tried serracor Nk to attack the fibrin element of the scar tissue?

I'm 32 years old and newly married.. Recently experienced erection problems and noticed a c shaped vein looking thing around the right shaft of my penis. I have also been in pain for about five weeks as well in the genital region. I'm 95 percent sure this is Peyronies. I am on pentox and cialis. I am close to being suicidal. I have no obvious bend yet. I think that I noticed the scar before the bend has begun. My wife wants to k ow if it is safe to have sex or if the scar might resolve if we just leave I alone. Any advice?

Went to general practice uro today and both the PA and uro couldnt even palpate anything (my guess is because it wasn't erect)...i swear the bump is getting harder every day even with pentox and vit e. I took a picture erect and went back to see them in the afternoon. The other PA said that it looked like some "minor" scarring and reccommended vitamin E. She said that if it were a Peyronie's plaque, then the uro would have felt it flaccid or erect. The uro also said that most peyronies patients present with curvature, which I do not have (yet)... Is there anyone out there who knows otherwise?

I have another question. Has anyone ever heard of starting VED or extender PRIOR to a bend occurring? Just wondering and trying to be proactive.

Hi everyone. I had no idea that a site like this existed and pretty much thought I was alone dealing with this problem.

I got diagnosed with Peyronies Disease a few years back, I'm 28 by the way and from Wales, UK, I waited a year to see a specialist, finally saw him and he was like "Yeah, you have Peyronies Disease, there's not really a lot that can be done about it...Any questions?" Obviously I was broken up, even though that was what I suspected I had, it still come as a shock. So I have done absolutely nothing about it other than dwell everytime a sexual encounter goes a 'bit pear shaped'.

The bend was sore at first, but it has been pain free for a couple of years. The bend is quite bad, I'm sure there are worse cases though. It pretty much bends towards me, similar to a 'C' shape just not as extreme.

Is there anything I should be doing to straighten things up a little? Sorry if this is posted in the wrong topic also, I have had a good look round the site, everything just got a bit technical for me when members were talking medicines and Mg's, I have no idea what any of that means.

Many thanks.
