Hi there,

Question for you all. As my Sig says, I'm 25 in fairly good health and have minimal to no ED impacts from Peyronie's (besides psychological). That being said, my uro still prescribed pentox and tadalafil (5mg) because of anti-fibrotic properties. Well; that's great and all - but every time I try to use the restorex I get hard, and I know it's quite dangerous to do traction while hard or even semi-hard... has anyone else had this problem? Any tips and tricks to quickly shut down a boner (besides thinking about grandma). I seriously am at a loss as I want to start using my restorex soon.

One note, I KNOW the obvious answer is get off the tadalafil, but I agree with my uro, I want the anti-fibrotic component AND it is giving me stronger/more frequent morning wood.. which can probably only be a good thing.  If I end up doing anything it'd probably be going down to a 2.5mg dose and seeing how that impacts my daily erections. Not to sound like a layman, but does going from 5mg to 2.5mg cut my "anti-fibrotic properties" in half? Lol. Maybe that's too science-y of a question but would appreciate insights / advice so I can start traction.

Btw - one final tidbit - my plaque is right under my glans (maybe half a centimeter away). I've seen some comments that traction could worsen it if it's that close, or that traction is much more ineffective for plaque that close to the glans.. any insight? (Specifically for the restorex). Thanks so much guys, much love.

Best,
M

I would say that taking Cialis or generic versions is a must as it does help with reducing inflammation and helping erections, which sounds like you don't need. I would say reducing your dosage will help. Using the Restorex with an erection is not recommended. I see your dilemma and wonder if there is a time of day when you don't get erections? Afternoon when you are tired or possibly after a heavy workout?

I started with the PMP because that is what my Dr suggested. Now I have had erections with that device and it did not cause a problem because of the way it attaches to your glans. It is a gentler traction with less force and you need to wear it for a longer period. I can say thought that I did get positive results form using it! My  peyronies plaque was in the same spot as your too. Now I did eventually purchase a Restorex and have used it to help correct my curvature which it did. You must remember that this takes time and patience. Our motto here is," This is a marathon and not a sprint,"    :)

You could masturbate before using RestoreX? That's what I do when I have an erection while starting to use the RestoreX.

Btw, my plaque is inside and beneath my glans. I gained length and curve progression (14°) with RestoreX. I can only advice it !

Good luck and patience!

I agree. An erection won't occur if you precede the Restorex with a solo session. There's no reason not to, considering what's happening.
