Hello friends,
I really need your help.
Before talking about molecules and results, I would like clarifications and your help on iontophoresis. In Italy this treatment is often proposed with pentoxifylline or verapamil. The theory of some urologists is that the injections are a trauma for the penis, while iontophoresis respects the tissues. Various devices are recommended and the prices are often different (from 400 to 1000 euro). Some manufacturers claim that their device is the best for transporting pentoxifylline which is a 'complex molecule' (?!?). Of course I am talking about devices for 'home therapy'. As a patient, I see a lot of confusion - many doctors only propose devices that have a better commercial policy. Can any of you, who use home iontophoresis, tell me which device you use? What medicine is used? I would like to buy a device and would like the advice of a patient who actually uses it. Thanks !
