Can you see your plaque / raised bumps / deformity while flaccid?

Hello everyone,

For the last few months I have not only been able to feel a hard lump / tissue under the skin but I can also see it while flaccid.

I was wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar as this doesn't seem to be as common.

Plaques usually are internal and difficult to see externally. There are exceptions to the rule though. This could also be a vein that is bulging.

I see you are really active on here and do a great job at responding to many people's posts. Wanted to firstly show my appreciation for that. Hope you are having a good morning/evening (wherever you are in the world). I'm in Australia and the Winter is just setting in here in Melbourne.

I think what makes it trickier to figure out is that it appears to be under one of main superficial veins running down the middle, so in theory, that might be why it seems more pronounced.

It feels pretty firm, almost like a knot of tissue. Not soft and plushy anyway.

I find myself oddly seeking for someone with similar symptoms, despite knowing full well that it won't make a difference to the outcome.

You can feel it when flaccid. There is a bit of technique to it.

I can feel a ridge / bump, yes, with barely any pressure at all.
