Hello,
part of the club since early 2025 (maybe it started earlier - dont know for shure). I am 34 years young, had duputruyens for 3 years and was always afraid of developing peyronies - et voila, here we are.. I think I partly developed because of a prescription of adderall for adhd, or at least I think it might have contributed. I always had the feeling that it does nothing good to my body even though it helps me with managing my life. But I stopped with it and struggling pretty much right now, but I try to see it as a warning sign of my body to stop giving it amphetamines to function. I also have crohns which always got worse from Adderall so its really about time to stop with it and see how I can manage life without.

My symptoms are not to bad, first things I noticed where flaccid/semierect hourglassing and my congenital curve intensified. Then it started to hurt and unfortunately I feel like i am loosing girth, aspecially at the glans, it is smaller and it feels like there is a tight band around my penis at the beginning of the glans. My curve is right now probably at around 20-30 degrees, if it stays this way it is ok, the girth loss is more concerning to me.

I had two urologists do an flaccid ultrasound and manual examination, one of them detected a very small "calcified plaques", the other one found nothing, but both of them had no doubt about the diagnoses because of my duputruyens and the symptoms. I cant feel any plaques by myself. I have one appointment with a specialised urologist in couple of weeks, hopefully he can give me at bit more inside at the state where I am as I want to track the progress.

I am taking cialis, pentox and supplements for the last weeks and thinking about starting restorex and VED soon. One prescribed potaba but I didnt start with it - any experiences with it?

Im in a (complicated) relationship, but my partner is supportive with my disease which is good. I am still sexually active, I don't know if that is stupid or ok.

I think it is not really possible to determine what the cause of Peyronie is. I was thinking my case was caused by finasteride until I found out my brother also has Peyronie s (and he does not take finasteride).
My guess is that it is mostly genetics.

Restorex is a good device.

For girth use VED device.
I found a very cheap one online which you have to pump manually and I find it much better than the more expensive and less practical electric versions.

Interesting that you think adderall might be related.  My symptoms also started about 3 months after starting adderall.  I began having worsening hard flaccid and some minor ED, worse quality erections while on the meds.

My theory is that since it makes erections weaker it makes it easier to get injuries from bending during sexual activity and less blood flow to help them heal.  So while it may not have directly caused peyronies, it can contribute to a situation where it can occur in people predisposed maybe.

When it comes to peyronies everyone reacts differently to different medications and how they think they've got it. For instance after the pandemic there were some men who all of a sudden cam down with peyronies. They think it was because of receiving the covid vaccine. There is also the finasteride problem. Men who took this for their hair loss developed low testosterone and subsequently peyronies. So there is the possibility that the Adderall could cause this disease.

My brother thinks he got it from his third Covid vaccine
I used to think I got it for using Finasteride.
We both got it..
my view is that 90% is genetics

I mean it is nice to know where you got it from but in the scope of things it is better to develop a strategy for recovery.

I am also from Germany (Munich).

I have a similar issue: The top part of my Penis is not expanding fully leading to lost girth, small upward curvature of the glans and shortening.
Urologists diagnosed it as Peyronie's, but they do not see a plaque in flaccid ultrasound. The plaque is palpable so.
I call my deformity shape "bottleneck Peyronie's".

On the positive side: my deformity improved slightly after some years. I attribute most of it to daily Cialis, very gentle manual traction, warmth and typical Peyronie's supplements.

It sounds that you found some urologist that is helpful and prescribed some typical medication.

In case it gets worse, feel free to DM me and I can recommend some specialists I visited in southern Germany.

I also have semierect/flaccid hourglass. The flaccid hourglass disappears when I'm laying on my back. Semi erect happens few times.
