32 yo. Got penile injury at the end of April 2024. Symptoms were some small pain on left side of penis and a plaque there. First ultrasound in November didn't show anything (?). Second ultrasound and MRI in December showed small plaque of dense micro calcifications without fibrosis and without any ongoing inflammation. (By that time it was already chronic phase)

I did shock wave therapy in January and now talking L-carnitine, pentoxifylline and Ginko, vitamin E and bunch of other supplements and Tadalafil 5mg daily.

Results: Pain is almost gone after the shockwave therapy. Otherwise no changes in size of the plaque. Erection is rather ok.

I'm trying to have hight hopes for pentoxifylline since it could probably reduce calcifications size.

If someone has any ideas on how calcifications can be treated or have a story of calcifications improvement pls share it with me

Was the plaque palpable for you before your  first ultrasound. If not, how long it took to be palpable?

It appeared and was palpable pretty soon after the initial injury. Less than a month I would say. However it was and still is palpable mostly only when erect. First 2 urologists couldn't even feel it in flaccid state. Feeling of rigidity on that side appeared almost immediately after the injury and was gone only few weeks ago after shockwave therapy

Sounds like you are really doing everything you can buddy, well done. You are giving yourself the best chance of recovery thats for sure.

Out of interest, could you see your plaque when flaccid or erect. If so, what did it look like?

All the best!

Hey Roman! Welcome aboard.

Pentox has not shown significant improvement according to the latest evidence... It's listed on Dr Trost website too. One good thing is you are being proactive on this and are already on cialis.

Have you had any length or girth changes?
